Marquez has got to be the greatest of the "Big Three" (Morales, Barrera, Marquez). His longevity and his resume he separates himself from the other two and is in the same category as Chavez Sr. and Salvador Sanchez.

Then you will never find anything to do with PEDs suspicious. Ben Johnson ran his race, Canseco, McGwire, and Sosa hit their pitches, Armstrong pedaled, and Toney, Pacquiao, and JMM threw their punches.

BS. Armstrong won 7 tours clean when everyone else was on drugs..

JMM physical transformation is questionable but that was a perfect shot. As a fan of manny it would be easier for me to agree with you.

However you very rarely see punches like that one last night. Not only was Pac stepping into it, Marquez moved forward with his body and back foot planted. It's not like he KOed him with a jab. It was pretty much the perfect shot

Well his longevity had much to do with him not fighting anyone until later in his career.

Was just talking today about how astute Hamed had been to shamelessly duck JMM.

Hamed was entertaining to watch but he was not in the same class as JMM, Barrera, Morales

They could fight 100 more rounds and I'm not sure it'd happen again. In that sense it's 'lucky'. Depends what way you look at it.

word. Also, in sports, luck is a very deciding factor. It doesn't make the victories any less worthy but it means that the results vary

But Hut and Ugo, surely Pacquiao would be gunshy from now on though if they fight again? If Pacquiao was as aggressive as he was on Saturday, I COULD see it happening again. Especially with this big, powerful version of Marquez.

The fact that he got knocked down fairly hard just 3 rounds previous doesn't herlp the case that it was luck.

As good as Pacquiao looked on Saturday, I did notice he didn't seem to see the punches coming as well as usual.

Lucky Pacquiao put himself in that position, I guess.

Pacquaio is at the end. I could imagine Marquez going for the KO in a 5th fight with full confidence, knowing that he's already broken Pac's chin. Pac would be scared.

 at anyone who thinks Marquez won the first fight. That was a very clear win for Manny.

The 2nd fight was Marquez's best argument for a win out of the first 3.

2 was the closest, the first fight Manny won and he edged the 3rd by a point or two.
