This detracts from Floyd's legacy. The man he embarrassed just KTFO the dude he's been avoiding like the plague out of fear. He'll probably go into hiding.
My guess is that he'll spin it as a virtual victory for him. Something along the line of "I told ya all that that pinoy wasn't good enough to trouble Money May".
Floyd has to know tens of millions went up in smoke last night. It's why Arum looked like a deer in head lights as he comforted Jingi - shocked by the size of his own loss.
Seriously I can't believe anyone really thinks Floyd would be "afraid" Floyd has been a GREAT fighter since he was very young and there is no reason to think he'd be afraid
I disagree.. I don't think any professional boxer who has been VERY successful for many many years is "scared" of another boxer. Could be greed, money related...a million other things but scared? Lol
You also can't deny that Floyd looked every bit his 35 year old self in that Cotto fight. Why didn't he take the Pacquaio fight and make a cool 50 mill when it was right there for him all these years?
If Pacman and Marquez fight again, Pac is going to be gun shy. He's not gonna go charging at Marquez and put his chin at risk. It'll be a sh*t fight I think. It does raise questions though as to how Marquez put Pacman's lights out (dropping him with 1 punch earlier) when Marquez isn't known for having 1 punch power. He's definitely trained like a beast. The physique shows it. Heard he was doing mad squats in training with really heavy weights.
Don't know if JMM used peds or not, but as to how he could've mustered a knock out like that after three fights of failing to do so? Well, for starters jmm said going into the fight he was going for the knockout. But more importantly all you need to do is see the punch to know how it could've happened. Camacho Sr. , if he had landed that punch, would've knocked Palicquiao out. Jmm had his whole body in that punch, and pacquiao literally ran into it. There' s little mystery when it comes to the outcome...when you see the punch. Those claiming it were fishy or beyond belief seem to be asking us all to ignore our very eyes.
Well JMM knocked Pacman down with 1 punch earlier in the fight. Something he NEVER did before. It seems Marquez wants to be a powerpuncher now, with his new He-Man physique and all.
pacquiao got knocked in the third because he thought marquez was loading up on his left. marquez always leads with a left hook to the body and he set it up nicely w/ an overhand right that pac didn't see coming. as for the knockout punch, he walked right into it. not sure how PED attributed to that. marquez was getting busted up before that KO.
The PEDs contribute by making it possible for Marquez to throw that perfectly timed punch MUCH HARDER than he would otherwise have been able to throw it
Mike Tyson said Floyd doesn't want to fight Pacquiao. <div><iframe frameborder="0" width="576" height="324" src="http://d.yimg.com/nl/vyc/site/player.html#startScreenCarouselUI=hide&shareUrl=http%3A%2F%2Fscreen.yahoo.com%2Fmike-tyson-mayweather-does-not-want-to-fight-pacquiao-31244698.html&repeat=0&browseCarouselUI=hide&vid=31244698"></iframe></div>
a bigger, stronger version of a guy is likely to hit harder than a smaller, weaker version of that guy. nothing doubtful about it as for Pac, he got what was coming to him
he then set fire to the money with a gold zippo while standing on top of his stretch humvee in front of a group of starving Hondurans and the selfless nuns who dedicate their lives to caring for them
Yeah, but just barely. All those undercard fights were terrible, and I kept praying for a knockout in all of them, not to raise the excitement level but just to get the shit over with.
I find that strange seeing as how Floyd is supposed to be buddies with LBJ. I could see Floyd being a dick teasing Lebron about the loss and throwing in how he won money off of it to boot. What a douche.
