The way the BBC {a name that makes me laugh all the time} effuzes over his slap-tastic win, referring to him as "Dominant"

Expected Khan to win with ease and he did. His chin is not as bad as people make out. That shot from Garcia would have KO'ed any dude at 140.

 No it wouldn't. It was a good shot, nothing more. Plenty of guys would have been fine, or just buzzed.

The hate for Khan is strong....

I cant find a clip, youtube seems to dead. Anyway as I remember it the first knock down did the damage and it was a sick shot more on the neck than chin. Most guys would not be fine or buzzed. Im the first guy to jump on the Khan hate wagon but lets be fair about this. That was great shot from Garcia.

It was a decent, meaty shot, that landed half on the neck, half on the jaw. It wasn't a great shot, it didn't even land flush on the chin. How often do you see guys KO'd from shots that don't even land clean on the jaw?

Most of the top 140 pounders would have taken that shot just fine. It might have hurt them, but it wouldn't come close to KOing them. Khan's chin sucks, that's pretty evident by now.

Khan calling out Garcia after the fight:

"I'm ready for Danny Garcia, anywhere, any time, any place,"

"He was lucky. He caught me with a good shot."

Khan still get hit with the left hook...I only saw 4-5 rounds of the fight...and Molina was trying to and catching Khan with the same hook Garcia landed...

Khan looked super vulnerable to me. He was just fortunate Molina isn't a big puncher because he took some shots against him too.

As for Garcia, Khan truly is DELUSIONAL in regards to what happened in that fight. I have no doubts a rematch would render the same outcome.

I favour Brook even more now. That performance showed no real differences to me.

Is it that bad these days?
A friend of mine is telling me today that last night's 'Sports Personality Of The Year' was just a great big self-congratulatory slap-on-the-back for the 'BBC Olympic Games 2012'.

Apparently, a Khan/Josesito Lopez fight is likely next.

It really was: I said the same thing earlier in another thread. It was fucking shit. Some of the nominess were laughable: boxing was represented not by Carl Froch, but by some smiling, idiotic, windmill throwing wifey. At least one of the nominees was an actual spastic. They spent fully ten minutes on the sport of rowing and two minutes on rugby, more time on equestrian than on Euro 2012 and Cheshit winning the CL combined. Usain Bolt unanimously won Overseas Personality of the Year; apparently none of the judges have heard of Lionel Messi, for example.

Madness. :notallthere: For the first time ever, I was really glad a cyclist won - in spite of the BBC angling desperately for Ennis and Farah to win. And Wiggins was fucking mortal drunk to boot.

Overall, it was shambles. Total waste of time.

The thing with Josesito is he has almost zero skill.

Khan would use his speed and range to win a UD, and he'll have to survive some scary moments.
