    I like a drink as do my friends. I've never witnessed a nice person get proper nasty or really obnoxious because of alcohol. Act the clown sure but nothing more than playful.

    Some people are twats and only have the confidence / courage to be that twat when drunk.

    You have a nasty streak or you don't. I'm man enough to spot it, others should be man enough to admit it

    If I need to be inebriated to not feel like punching some jackass who just crashlanded on my coffee table and smashed it to smithereens, then I'd say the problem is the conconction that fucked up his balance to begin with, no?

    Every gig I ever played, without fail, there were at least half a dozen people like that... slamming into people by accident because they had no sense of personal space or balance, making a racket, spilling shit everywhere, knocking shit over... I wanted to straight-jacket them... you could see all these other people just trying to relax and have a good time and some moron who can't hold his liquor is slamming into their table, spilling their drinks...

    People who can't hold it are a pain in the arse. I only know two but one's my brother so it's not like i can totally rubber ear him.

    And on that note......today's the first day of a two week paid holiday so I'm away out to get pished. :lol: We have the greatest local in the world. Cheapest pints in the west end, framed pictures on the wall of James Connolly, Jimmy Reid, The Dubliners, David Byrne, David Bowie & old black and white pictures of Glasgow. The bar maids hot, they play nothing but good music, any football in the world is always on the tele on mute. Thursdays is live music. Perfect mixture of old geezers with dogs, brickies and art school hipsters. I want my ashes spread in it.
