There's been talk about the subject in a lot of other sports as well. Not sure how much truth there is to it but it does make some sense even though it could be false. If it could be 100% proven to be true Hugh Heffner could make some nice coin on the side by having fighters as regular guests at the Playboy mansion leading up to the fight. Then naturally bet on the other guy.

Wouldn't surprise me. The New York Cosmos soccer team had a bit of a reputation for partying. There were some players who arranged for them to be met by a limo along with 'all the fixins' the night before a match
I've heard that it's not so much having sex that is the issue as it is all of the other stuff that can go along with it like partying, drinking, not getting enough sleep. etc...
