The Camacho that beat Howard Davis at 140 UD's Hatton. Ricky barely beat a Rican southpaw w/o a fraction of Camacho's talent in Collazo. Hatton might beat the 90's Camacho at 140, who had lost a step. But the 80's Camacho moving up in weight would just be too fast, and skilled for Hatton, and would dart in and out on Ricky all night.
I think this would a fucking horrible fight with an absurd amount of clinching... Camacho by close decision
Hatton wins. Collazo fight was at 147 and admit it or not, Collazo's offense was more formidable than Camacho's. I think it's more like Hatton/Maligniaggi than Hatton/Collazo.
I figured you'd say that. Hatton never beat anyone in their prime with a fraction of the talent Camacho had. Hector like him or not, would have been too fast and too slick for Hatton to catch up to.
Geez. Talk about a generic answer. Camacho is better than anyone Hatton beat at the time he fought them. And he did beat Rosario which was at least as big of a fight as Hatton-Tzysu.
Hatton's no Rosario. Ricky didn't have Chapo's skill set, timing, accuracy, and DAMN SURE didn't have Rosario's power.
Yawn. Another non-answer. Of course I saw that fight. Rosario rocked him a couple of times, and it was a close fight, but Camacho won the fight...and deservedly so. And there's nothing in that fight that suggests Hatton would beat Camacho.
LOL @ Double comparing this to Hatton-Paulie. I'm quite a big fan of Paulie, but he isn't a faction as good/talented as prime Camacho.
