    I also must say Quintin is one fugly mother fucker and he put his own fugly ass in this movie as well (In a completely unnecessary scene that should have been I feel not there. It messed with pacing of the movie) But my point is Quintin always was getting heat from Spike Lee's and other whinos and saying nagger in his movies. People felt he only put himself in those movies to say nagger. It might be true I don't know and don't care frankly but anyway my point is in this one he doesn't say nagger he rather says blackie which i find funny because the word nagger was being used every other two seconds by everyone and anyone but it seems the Spike Lee's of this world got to him and he pussied out.

    It is a spaghetti western made by Tarantino. It has a more linear storyline than previous Tarantino films.

    Just got back from seeing this. Very good movie. Long tho. close to three hours. Definitely not his best work, but this was a true western to the bone. What i liked about it the most, other than the writing, is that it actually showed how a legend is made. Usually in westerns, the movie stars with the hero already a legend and he just has to back it up. In this movie, you see what actually makes a legend and this did it. Of course Lanza was great. DiCaprio was very good too. Samuel L. Jackson was particularly funny. Jamie Foxx was good too. Definitely worth the watch.

    You must be joking. Or on drugs. or both.

    I give this movie a 7 at most.
    You will hear that this movie is a 'tribute' to spaghetti Westerns in the school of Sergio Leone or Sergio Corbucci. But, again, as with all his other fucking overrated movies, that’s just what Tarrantino says, and he will say anything.
    And talking is what this movie is all about. Lots of it.

    As for Christoph Waltz? Actor of tons of movies but unheard of 3 years ago until 'Inglorious Basterds'...here is guy, who unless he's working with a direct Tarantino script, pretty much can't get arrested..

    165 minutes and nothing much happens beyond talking, stupidly OTT violence and the loads of corpses.

    But of course, I forgot: it's a 'homage'. :rolleyes:

    It was a great western. i wouldn't give a 10. 8 more like it. I did believe it was a homage. So many similarities between old time westerns. The opening gave me chills.

    Haven't seen this movie yet - but most of Tarantino's movies are nothing more than just good fun for me. They are NOT works of art or brilliant masterpieces, they're just popcorn entertainment, over the top EVERYTHING and with any luck some decent acting and funny jokes along the way.

    I disagree. I think most of this movies are materpieces. but i am a QT fan. His movies usually stick with me.

    I personally think most of his movies are just entertainment. Pulp Fiction is an exception, his best work, imo. Great movie right there. Res. Dogs is pretty good, Jackie Brown also quite good. But the rest? Kill Bill, Death Proof, Inglorious Basterds.... come on these aren't masterpieces. They're just fun, violent over the top movies

    The violence in Res dogs and Pulp is over the top too. Death Proof was fucking great. It's a homage to B movies. Inglorious had some of terrific acting. I dont know man, i just loved it. I am huge fan of Kill bill too. But then again, i am a kung Fu movies fan so...
