I guess it's kind of like "Cheers", if the Cheers bar didn't actually have any customers and everybody who knew your name, hated you.

TBBT fans always going around saying that people don't like it don't get the jokes when in reality there's nothing to get. It's an ok show but pretty simple and generic.

 

Never watched it. Sounds super lame.

 

I think this is precisely why it is so watchable. You really don't care if/when something bad happens to any of the characters because they all deserve it. So you are left just sitting back and enjoying whatever unfolds.

"Scrub's" could be annoying as hell sometimes, but it was still about 1000 times better then Big Bang Theory.

Watch from the start, 20 minute episodes and theres about 10 per season.

The show does pick up after season 2, but you'll miss some of the characters and their back stories.

 

"What do you guys know about smuggling heroin...through your anus?"

"Banging your sister is perverted, Dennis!"

'Generic US comedy, nothing special': this is pretty much what I thought of it, 20 mins into Episode 1 and deleted the rest of the series.

 

So basically, you're one of the characters on the show.
