    Had it not been by the concrete and the spungy ring...Joppy would work Trinidad over....Smith..Sugar..whatever he wants to call himself wouldn't fare well without brass knuckles...

    im pretty sure the ring in japan was spongy and that japanese fella who joppy won his first title from had loaded gloves as well. no way he'd have hurt the joppster otherwise.

    Joppy would give Ray a good battle as many guys who were less talented than William did.

    Ray was a great, great fighter, but he sure as hell was not unbeatable and looked very ordinary at times versus guys like Tommy Bell, Tiger Jones, Marty Servo and Henry Brimm.

    Ray by TKO in 9, but Joppy definitely lets him know he was there.
