Pretty excited to FINALLY have some boxing back! Garcia-Salido should be a highly interesting fight, and Martinez-Burgos could be a war.

Also, I'm looking forward to seeing GGG, even if Rosado has zero chance. GGG likely spark Rosado brutally within 3. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if he sparked him in 1.

Yeah, I hate the first three weeks of January. Never any fights.

Can't wait for this show. Too bad GGG isn't in tougher, but the main event is beautiful. And yeah, Martinez/Burgos could be really good.

He sure is...sounds pretty good so far too.

I'd like to hear what he thinks of GGG after that fight concludes. Those two could meet in a couple of years, as Golovkin has said he'd go as high as 168 for a "special" fight.

The main event could be great too. I must admit I underestimated Mikey Garcia's ability throughout his career so far. He's looked very promising & we all know Salido is an incredibly tough opponent. Garcia may look like a dishwasher at Olive Garden, but if he pulls this off impressively, there are some big fights out there for him.

Burgos is gonna have Martinez pissing blood & other various debris with those left hooks.

It's nice to see the familiar ceiling lights at the Garden.

Wow, 116-112 Martinez? We've said this for what seems like centuries, but how hard is it to find somewhat competent judges? Oh we'll, at least everything is still status quo. I have a feeling GGG won't need the scorecards in a few minutes.

Rosado is going to get his head caved in....come on he could have made this fight at 154...given himself somewhat better chances. NOW instead of lasting 4-5 rounds...he will probably be KO'ed in 1..

Whatever works....he is using a variation of the 49 year old Hopkins style..throwing the straight right, and circling/running away...Hopkins throws it and clinches...Rosado is smart enough to understand he isn't strong enough to work it like that...

2-3 more rounds for Rosado before his legs give away..

Gaybox is a downright small middleweight.

Ward just said GGG is defensively better than Chavez Sr.

The hype train is slowing quite a bit down regarding Golovkin. He's looking fairly pedestrian so far, to I concede it, a tricky opponent, but one who probably isn't wolrd class imo

Ward is right....the jab was working wonders for Rosado...and it also allow him to rest a bit..he didn't have to move much while throwing that jab...and GGG was eating them like mc'donalds triple cheddar onion..whatever the fuck they are call.

This is the worst I've seen Gaybox look, but remember some solid stink can make a fighter look bad like crazy. Even Donaire has been made to look average and a bit sloppy in front of uber negativity like little Narvaez.

yeah, but that wasn't the same Rosado ( plus he was basically koed because he was waccked while complaining to the ref about something ), but still, I expected GGG to look far more impressive

Briscoe: "I gotta stop this fight, you're son's gonna die man!" :34:
I don't think Golovkin looked as bad as some of you guys think. He won every round & was just a bit off. He doesn't look invincible by any means, but still a threat to anyone @ 60. We'll forget about this one after his next dominant performance. He does need to find some semblance of head movement though.

I don't care what you ladies say: I was impressed with Rosado. He was making GGG look beatable, but it was that cut his downfall. I think Rosado can beat Chavez Jr. It could be fun to see him fighting Ginger.
