How about everyone? And if they're not they're stupid. You're in a sport where you could literally die the next fight so why not try whatever you can so that you don't die? At the end of the day fuck all this honor and pride shit. You have one life to live. Your kids have one dad to take care of them. Is it fair to train your hardest when your opponents take PED's and have an unfair advantage? That's like working at the office and using a pen and paper to write all your stuff meanwhile David from the cubicle over has this thing called a printer ? Fuck that get a printer too. Do whatver you have to to make it a level playing field. They should either A. Allow Ped's to be legal or B. Test everyone hardcore and if they catch you ban you for LIFE. But we all know B. will never happen because at the end of the day everyone is fucking greedy and all they care about is profit so why the fuck should you care about pride and honor when no one else does? Not to mention it's your life on the line and not theirs.

I still think PEDs are relatively new to boxing (as in 15-20 years as a starting point, becoming more widespread steadily)

I'd be surprised if any top-tier guys in the 80s were on any kind of steroids... maybe an amphetamine here and there, a pain killer perhaps, as well... but true PEDs? I think boxing is late to such things

So all of the guys I listed would've been fighting post-80's, and well into the 2000's. You think each and everyone would've used PEDs? note: I added some names.

It depends on the sport and what you mean by 'legal'.

Obviously there weren't legal in the olympics. Of course they were rampant and still are in body building.

Why do you think this? I think you just have think too highly of boxing. It's no different from other sports. People were using steroids in the 50's in sports. Testosterone was isolted in 1935, it was being used by weight lifters in the 40's and was being used in the olympics in the 50's. Not to mention guys were using other drugs like coke and anphetamines.

I'm not sure there was ever a time when boxing was clean. There was always something to take to give you an edge.

Pretty endowned dicks . Which explains why there is never any connection between Asian/Indian fighters and PEDs.

why do I think this? because boxing was behind the times on basically every form of training... I mean weight training in boxing was unheard of until recently

It's not because I think so highly of the business of boxing, it is because boxing was in the dark ages on a lot of this stuff

Coke makes you numb, it's about as good as taking painkillers.

Boxing is very bad at keeping its secrets

How many steroid stories have you heard before, say 1990?
