I don't have an agenda here at all. I don't really care for White, put that out in front. I know that he has helped grow MMA and has been an instrumental part of the success of the UFC. With all that, he's still a bitch. He pulled this same shit with Tito Ortiz, talking about fighting him and shit. Problem with Tito, was he needed the UFC. Randy doesn't, Alvarez doesn't, neither did Fedor. Remember Dana talking shit about Fedor? Then he signs him and hes a GOAT. The guy is a bitch. He talks shit like he's a big man, but truth be told, he's only telling us one side of this deal. Dana has fucked over many a fighter, just ask Dan Henderson and Werdum. Would the UFC be better off without him, fuck I don't know, probably not. Would MMA have succeeded without him? Without a doubt. I love that Randy signed with Bellator. Is he gonna be some huge player at this point in the HW division? No. But he brings a spotlight with him and gets our sport more exposure. Its great. At one point, Dana will get burnt treating all these fighters like shit. Believe this. Jon Jones isn't happy with Dana, but he's a smart kid. He's making a brand of himself. He won't need Dana for long either.

 

Look.....Joe Silva is a very important piece of the UFC puzzle, and he even dates back to the pre-Zuffa days. But yeah....that was a ridiculous example.

I'm not diminishing Dana White's role in any of the things you mentioned. And if New York ever legalizes MMA, Dana would deserve much of the credit.

But help me out with something. I know the history of getting MMA legalized in California. And the WEC and Strikeforce were as deeply involved in that fight as Dana and the UFC. In fact, and this is from memory, the WEC was already regularly holding events on Indian reservations. And Strikeforce held the first sanctioned MMA event in California (not on a reservation) once it was legalized.

What states did Dana White get MMA approved in? Just curious..
