Isn't Guerrero the interim WBC champ? But Floyd is due to fight for it against an as yet unnamed opponent...

I'd like to see Khan face Keith Thurman.

    Thurman would plaster him.

Khan might as well just fight Brook in the UK. Two bums. Loser retires.

Keith Thurman is pretty bad, but yeah, he'd stop Khan.

You never know. Thurman is largely unproven at this point. And Khan does have wins over Judah and Maidana. So it's not the case that any fighter with any sort of power is going to knock Khan out, even though I felt Madaina got the better of Khan, win or lose.

As long as Khan keeps entertaining me with his humorous KO losses, I'm content

Thurman ain't exactly the 2nd coming of Julian Jackson, but he can definitely crack. There's literally no shot in Hell that Khan's chin is taking a flush hook from Thurman.

Thurman isn't very good, but he is too violent for KHAN.....Amir best chance at success it's the boring boxer type guy like Devon Alexander and that bum he lose to already Lamonth Peterson or whatever...LIMITED skill but violent(aggressive disregard for incoming fighters) are a nightmare for Khan.

That's probably especially true at 147 (that violent fighters are a nightmare for Khan). Having said that, somehow, he did survive Madaina's assault. In that sense, Khan is like a lot of fighters - he can withstand shots he's prepared for or that he expects (for example while he's on the ropes against Madaina). On the other hand, he apparently cannot survive counter shots that he doesn't see coming. But that means that getting Khan out of there isn't as easy as landing a hard punch. Rather, it must be a hard counter punch or a hard punch that's otherwise thrown in sneaky fashion. This means that to beat Khan you have to have some skill/timing as well as power.

So I'm not convinced power alone gets it done. If it did, Madaina would've finished Khan off no problem.

Thurman has MORE than enough timing/handspeed to crack Khan's jaw.

Danny Garcia is a good fighter, but it's not like he's Edwin Rosario.

Thurman can time Khan just as Garcia did, and Thurman is just a bigger man with a bigger punch than Garcia.

I still don't think Garcia is very good. I think there is a damn good chance Zab beats this guy.

same... Garcia was a pathetic guy having trouble with a 70 year old, fat Junior Featherweight... then he scored a KO over a chinless, boxbot bastard and all of the sudden he's good

In summary: Khan is a chinless boxbot. Garcia is shit but strong enough to fuck up the boxbot. Thurman hits hard so he will definitely fuck up the chinless boxbot.

That's really all he's done. His best win other than Khan is a SD over Kendall Holt.

If Khan is able to do for 12 rounds what he did against Kotelnik, then he has a chance to pull off the UD but if he's still too stupid to realize that he needs to fight at distance and not get into exchanges with that chin and defense(Or lack thereof) that he possesses, then he is going to get KTFO again and he will in all likelyhood retire.

Agreed, he has become highly overrated recently. I'd confidently pick Rios and Lucas over him.
