At this point, I almost hope Donaire clocks him.

 

well, if he's in the habit of juicing before his fights, he doesn't have much choice, does he?

 

rigondeaux is clearly juicing. i knew that when he hired a strength coach after the cordoba fight. it leveled the playing field. what i dont understand is why donaire all of a sudden wants his opponent to undergo this testing. he didnt force arce, nishioka or anyone else to undergo VADA testing.

 

Maybe like you...he clearly knows Rigondeaux is juicing....so he wants to even things out...and after wanting and screaming for the fight vs. Donaire if now Rigondeaux backs off then it official.

 

arce has been clearly juicing for years. since he sucks i guess donaire didnt feel the need to hop on his soap box. donaire wants to force guys into these tests when it suits his agenda. also helps that he has a guy in his corner who can get past any testing.

 

sounds like it is NOT mandated in the contract for the fight. if not, donaire may have a lawsuit on his hands.

The thing is, for a guy that talked non stop shit about how Donaire was avoiding him I'd expect just a little bit more from him now that this opportunity has arrived.

But it looked to me like Donaire has him a little intimidated.

Not to the point where he's gonna get out of the fight, but more like he knows that he's in for something now in facing a true pound 4 pounder and not some average fighter.

interesting to note that rigondeaux whipped abner mares pretty easily when they fought.

 

Not that interesting, or surprising. Mares is a cheating little chode, and not even close to being as good as Donaire. It's obvious both these guys would batter Mares.

 

interesting to note rigo's biggest wins were in the amateurs and with head gear and fencing rules.

I've said before Donaire is average sized at 122, not the monster people think he is, but Gondo is downright small. Looks like a bantamweight at best.
