Poor Bellator. I wonder how much they invested in Mo. I never got the hype behind Mo anyway. He never really beat anyone but people were saying how he has great charisma and all that and that's why he's popular.I listened to some of his interviews on youtube and he's not witty or funny at all. He just looks like he's trying really hard and failing. So I don't get it at all. I guess people liked the umbrella and the girls and the crown. That was a little cool sure but Mo's personality is pretty lame.
Thanks that was fast! That was some ugly ass random back fist no wonder he got ko'ed ! And then he wants to rear naked a sleeping mo? That would put him in some stage 2 sleep . Some inception shit .
Bellator hasn't had much luck bringing in outside talent. Babalu, King Mo, Huerta, all the 'names' they bring in get beat pretty convincingly. TFK
Mo fought like an ass and deserved to lose. He got tagged a bunch of times but never brought his hands up. I don't know if he was just being cocky and didn't think he could get hurt. I guess he can rethink that strategy when he wakes up. TFK
didn't expect that at all. Though the Feijao ko was pretty flukish and that he would learned from it but it seems that Mo chin is simply glass ( even though it this one was really a lucky shot ) and he's too dumb/stubborn to learn to keep his hands up
For those that missed it, there were 4 highlight reel knockouts on the Bellator card last night. It was just flat out a fun card to watch. It's kind of funny that Mo was the Strikeforce LHW Champion and now he can't even get to the final of Bellator's tourney. And next to HW, it's Bellator's weakest division. I think he is so cocky that he believed he could coast to the title. Incorrect.....
Bwahahahaha, I love seeing cocky fighters get knocked the fuck out by nobodies. Mo obviously didn't respect this guy, holding his hands at his waist like a fucking idiot. He got exactly what he deserved.
Like I said, Bellator has been really good since moving to Spike. They've had some really fun fights and huge KO's. If you're an MMA fan and you aren't watching Bellator, you should be. You may not know most of the fighters, but you'll see some entertaining fights. TFK
But that "spinning back fist " was ugly as sin. Somebody called it a tricep extension on sherdog and I gotta agree :: It kinda reminds me of a back hand slap you would use on a ho
I loved it, it was awesome. The guy turns and sees mo with his chin in the air and throws it way late. Mo never saw it coming.
Dude is Either HEAVY HANDED as Hell, OR King Mo's Chin SUCKS... It Wasn't Even Really a "Spinning" Back Fist, Per Se....Dude Missed w/a Winging Right, then Reached Back w/his Left...Barely Any TORQUE on the Shot @ All... Nonetheless, Mo Went LIMP... REED:ant:
REED, the gif doesn't do it justice. Youtube it and get some better angles. It was right to the point of the chin and wasn't that hard, but it was a pretty good shot.
The dude actually did Mo a favour by hugging him on the way down, so his head didn't smack on the canvas.
That shows the guy isn't very confident in himself. He had Mo knocked THE FUCK out and he still dove in for a rear naked. If it were Anderson Silva in there he'd be having a smoke in the middle of the cage as Mo's face hits the ground.
My brother said King Mo just got Ike'd as in Ike Turner back slapping Tina. It was definitely a "Say what bitch?" type of smack.
Bellator isn't any better since the move to Spike, this is just a continuation of good stuff. I don't think King Mo took anyone lightly, he's just nothing special. With 4 oz gloves, there just isn't any justification for anyone taking anyone else lightly and I'm sure most fighters recognize this. The quality in Bellator is very solid, primarily because they get fighters with good records and while that isn't always telling that a fighter is good, it is a strong predictor.
Yep, this is evidenced by the fact that guys like Babalu, King Mo, Roger Huerta, Brett Rogers, etc were brought in with some hype and were humbled in the Bellator cage. These aren't 3rd and 4th tier fighters. I honestly think Bellator's current champions, like Chandler, Askren, Pat Curran and even Alexander Shlemenko could compete in their respective weight classes in the UFC and not look over-matched.
