Two of fightbeat's favorites and no one is discussing it ? edit nevermind! it's actually a different diaz i thought it was baby bulllllllllllllllll
Khan knows his chin is shit if he's fighting Julio fucking Diaz. The guy couldn't punch his way out of a wet paper bag. 5 KO's in 40+ fights and spent most of his career as a LW.
Damn it. You're right. When I looked it up on boxrec to see which Diaz BOSS was talking about, I looked at his record and thought it said he had 5 KO's. He's been KO'd 5 times. :scared2: Hes still an old shot lightweight.
He's got 28 KO's. So I am sure he can punch a bit, or could anyway. Khan's career is over if he loses to Julio Diaz.
yeah, but even before that I remember thinking he would beat Manfredy for certain and he wound up looking awkward and nervous... he had a point deducted I remember (I think) for hitting low... a case could have been made he actually won, but I just remember being surprised that he didn't win clearly, he had looked the goods up to that point
Julio is a shot fighter, but can still punch, so he's dangerous. Khan should pretty much have his way here with this guy, though.
diaz was always catching right hands early in his career. still is. he was a more skilled guy than his brother coming up, but failed to have as good a career.
No. Julio Diaz is nowhere near as good as Garcia. Not even a PRIME Julio Diaz was as good as Garcia, nevermind now. If Khan loses to WHolio Diaz, he honestly should just slit both his wrists.
His brother could take a punch. Antonio's war with Ward is probably one of the more underrated fights. Antonio was a pretty good fighter. He was just in WAAAAYYYYY over his head against a peak Shane. If Antonio was in his prime right now, I think he'd make for a fun fight with Rios.
I can't see Danny Garcia losing to an over the hill Manfredy. Granted, I thought Julio beat Manfredy, but it shouldn't have even been close. He should have blown Angel's washed up ass away. Prior to that fight, Julio was considered the best prospect in the sport.
i liked diaz but i thought that was a bit over hyped by fat guys like dan rafael referring to him as the best prospect. a few fights before he fought manfredy he got hurt by some colombian vagrant.
My memory of his pre-Manfredy days is a bit cloudy, but I do remember thinking he'd be one of the best lightweights in the world. However, he never showed as much raw talent as Bojado did. What a waste that fat, lazy fuck was.
