I don't think it is about his comp. Granted, he wouldn't be able to dominate better opposition with the jab alone as he does now, but nobody does that. Wlad's jab is very quick, very accurate and it seems to bust up his opponents faces, to me that is pretty good. He isn't as active with it as Holmes, but to say he is not even at his class is ridiculous too

 

Nothing, it's just that the people on here seem more concerned with making jokes than talking about actual boxing. It's not a comedy contest. Don't try to give me shit about posting in here, I post about boxing as much as anyone else on this site. You'll just never see me here on weekends because I have a life, you will however see me post about the weekends fights on Monday morning.

When your opponents are awful boxers, it's a fairly safe assumption that your jabbing ability isn't going to be put to the test very often

The best jab he ever encountered was being thrown by a 97 year old shot fighter called Ray Mercer and Mercer landed quite a bit despite being a sitting duck, even cut wald pussy if I remember correctly

He has a good jab, don't get me wrong... it's basically his primary weapon, along with hugging, but he's never been put in a position of having to make it work against someone skilled who knows how to minimize its effectiveness... Holmes and Ali faced several such challenges
