 We'll have to wait on that. I haven't trained since September!
I remember when I quit Regency Fitness. About 2 months later they called my house telling me I had an overdue bill of $450!!! They pulled that sh*t out of their ass trying to steal money from me after I had already cancelled my membership with them.

I believe Buddy could've been as light as 169. I saw a picture of him where he's really thin.

Day 9: Think Cal Ripken Jr. Think Cal Ripken Jr. I'm pretty sure the morning jog is gonna be permanent as will the afternoon jog---at least until November or December. We'll see what happens, but it is having a good effect on me.

Yep, I made it down to 169 back in 2005 (Lightest I had been since I was 21, but I was hardcore then. I didn't have a kid or a house and I could do whatever I wanted. Still, right now my metabolism is speeding up. At the end of this 100 days, I will post a couple of pictures.

It's on my Facebook wall---the picture is from the spring of 2005. I was skinny, but I lost muscle as well as fat. No thanks. I won't be foolish like that again.

True but you were still stronger than BOSS anyway so it's all good. That wuss probably still can't even bench 225 for 3 reps

Second run of the day is in the books once again. Gotta remember to go to bed earlier this time. Two runs and weights. Not too shabby. :)

Day 10: First jog of the day is in the books. Yesterday, I got home and I was STARVING from not having lunch. I had more hotdogs than I should have for supper, but I've cut out most types of bread except for pita bread. I weighed myself this morning, and I'm down 6lbs from the start of the experiment. That's not going to happen all the time, but it was encouraging.

Be Cal Ripken Jr. Be Cal Ripken Jr. 90 days left, but the jogs will be a permanent thing until winter.

Strangely, the running isn't getting any easier. What's getting easier is my willingness to get dressed up and jog outside at temperatures just above zero at just before 6 in the morning. Ah well, I will be jogging in the dark after this weekend because it's Daylight Savings Time, and I'll be running at just before 6, which is just before 5 right now. Urrgh.

Oh yeah, #2 run of the day is put away. I think I'll do longer runs for the second run of my day on the weekends.

Day 11: First run in the books. This is motivating me because if I'm too heavy when I take the pictures in June, I'll feel like an idiot. Fear of failure is a good motivator. My right ankle is a bit sore today, so I might have to do 20 minutes of cardio on a treadmill first thing or zip out to the gym and do elliptical. I've got an icepack on my ankle now to reduce the swelling and hopefully get it to heal faster. It's very minor discomfort, but that can quickly get worse. I'll probably buy a tensor bandage and wrap it for the next little while.

Buddy you will be a beast in June! I can't wait to see your end result :bears:

I am eating pretty good, but the twice-a-day cardio and one or two lifting sessions a day is pretty intense. With an ankle strain or sprain, I switched from a 20-minute outdoor jog to a 20-minute elliptical trainer session. It's not the same but I felt no pain when I did it. None whatsoever, so I should be able to keep this up for 89 more days at least. As soon as my ankle heals, I'll be out on the road---or maybe not. Daylight savings time is this weekend and my chances of twisting my ankle increase if I'm jogging before sunrise. I might have to stick to the gym in the morning until it starts getting light out around 5:40am.

Day 12: First cardio session of the day is in the books. I did 20 minutes on the elliptical machine, and later today I will be hitting the weights and cardio with a vengeance. Today is cheat day, a day of insulin spiking to make sure I don't plateau and my body doesn't go into conservation mode. I'm picking up some ceylon cinnamon for the fat and sugar blocking effect. Happy Weekend, guys!

Day 13: First round of cardio is in the books, and I will be doing the second this afternoon. As this is the first day of DST, I am making sure I have everything ready for my pre-dawn cardio tomorrow. Not much else to say, Hanzy and Boss. Quiet day! :)

Day 14: The ankle is working well enough that I was able to jog without pain---just a bit of tightness. Two weeks are in the books---7 weeks and change to go.

In my second jog of the day today, I incorporated windsprints. I started getting that runner's stitch in my side. It felt good. I am gonna whip my butt into shape. Today's tip: if you have grapefruit with coffee, a substance called narengenin increases the fatburning half-life effect of caffeine in coffee. It also wires you for sound.

Day 15: LOL. Boss, that's not gonna happen, dude. :warning:I did, however, get up at 5 this morning and got to the gym at 6 to do my first cardio of the day. It's just too dark with DST and I can't see on my road. I'll twist my ankle and be stuck not running for a week. I hit the gym again at lunchtime to keep my strength up while losing the unwanted pounds. I'm trying to increase the reps so I can bench 250 for 15 reps and then move up from there. Still, I'm probably not going to make much progress on strength when I'm losing this much weight.

I'm hitting the gym after work for my second cardio session. I have to finish chest and back as well. I'm a busy dude today.

Cal Ripken Jr is the man! :bears:

Well I finished back and chest, but my ass was dragging---still got to do that 2nd cardio of the day. I'm getting in decent shape and no wonder I feel tired---I'm down 11lbs in 15 days and this is while I'm taking creatine, which adds water weight. But you know what they say: the first 10-15lbs are the easiest to lose. From here on out, it'll get harder to make rapid gains.

Day 16: I think I lost weight a bit too fast, so I had some food last night before I went to sleep and still lost weight. Looks like my metabolism is such that I can afford a bit of cheating here and there. It's definitely revved up a bit more than it has been in recent months. First cardio of the day is out of the way, and I'll nail the second on the way home! Viva Cal Ripken Jr!

Damn, I just did 30 sets in 40 minutes. My arms are pumped as hell. I alternated bis and tris, doing 15 sets for each. This is the most pumped they have ever felt.

    Barbell EZ Curls (Wide Grip)
    Close Grip Bench Press
Barbell EZ Curls (Very Close Grip)
    Rope Pressdowns
    Cable Curls (with rope handle)
Standing Tricep Extensions (behind back with rope handle)

5 sets of each. At the end, my arms were so pumped, I could barely flex them. It's been half an hour and they still feel like rock.

Great work Buddy! What keeps you motivated ? Are you cheating on your wife? You are aren't you? (If she can see you post here and you are concered about her finding out then just go ahead and deny it I'll know what's up no worries )

This made me smile. Nah, it's plain ol' fear of bombing out that's keeping me going. I want to finish this, Boss, and I'm not even 20% there yet. With the occasional sore knee or ankle, it's been challenging to keep it going.

Day 17: I'm changing it up---decided not to do cardio early in the morning today. It was -19. I will still do my lunchtime workout and my workout after work. It's easier now, but I decided to take it easy on a cold morning.

Day 18: No weights today, but I'm just getting ready to do my second set of cardio. My weight is up and down, but the bodyfat percentage is definitely decreasing. I can't really help the weight staying the same unless I stop weight training for the most part, and I'm not about to do that.

If I had one, I would. BOSS, do you shave your head? Maybe it's the way the light reflects off of you on that cloudy day, but it looks like the house behind you frames your hairline. It's tough to call when the photo is postage stamp size. Some of us don't need to hide so far away.
