I hate watching Miguel Vazquez fight (well, I hate watching him win). I hope he gets KTFO. His whole approach and style just bothers me - so defensive, so cowardly.
No way in Hell Vasquez gets stopped. He's a boring cunt, but he's durable, and Burns isn't a puncher, despite what he did to glass chinned Mitchell. This fight is essentially a pick em IMO. Neither one would have any shot at beating Broner though.
Oh, I'm not making any predictions here. I've never seen Burns fight. I'm just making the general comment that I don't like Vazquez's style and that I'll enjoy watching if he ever gets knocked out. As for Vazquez/Broner, you'd have to favor Broner. But it needs to be said that Vazquez's cowardly and defensive style might be surprisingly effective at neutralizing Broner's offense.
Vasquez's shit style could make it difficult for Broner to look impressive, simply because his style is soooooo negative. However, I don't see how Vasquez actually wins any rounds off Broner. The jury is still out on whether or not Broner is the next Floyd, but he proved against Demarco that he's FAR too good, and talented to be tested by the likes of Burns, and Demarco. Broner needs to move to 140 to be tested.
Within hours, this was postponed because Vazquez is suffering with illness, now a new date's been set for April 20.
DeMarco is shit, why does that win prove anything about Broner? I thought Valero was awful and he beat DeMarco like he stole something, and now that's some huge win for Broner? Nice try.
Against who? I never was impressed with the guy, Marquez would have taken him apart. It's a shame we never got to see him exposed.
