I seriously have no idea why Condit would be the underdog. That is crazy. Has anyone noticed the size difference? Condit looks GIANT compared to Hendricks.
Condit has never been KOed but Hendricks has also a better record, when it goes the distance. Both have weird losses though (Kampmann and Story) although Kampmann can beat a lot of guys on a good day. It's an intriguing match-up anyways.
Hendricks being the favourite is mental, he just seems kind of basic compared to Condit. I'll be surprised if he wins.
From What REED has Seen & Heard of Condit, he PREFERS a Stand Up Fight, as Does Hendricks, No???... That Being the Case, REED's Expecting a SLUGFEST or a Highlight Reel KO...Either Way, it Should Be MEMORABLE... REED:hammert:
I think even Dana feels Hendricks would win. There was a question asked of Dana (not in the press conference but on 1 on 1) and it was something isnt the UFC in a strange position if Condit wins and is now the #1 contender, considering he just lost. And Dana had this look on his face like he never thought of that and said something like yeah if condit wins it will be interesting
K-1 GP just about to start. There is a stream on youtube if anyone cares. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_8R0T5UPAFs&feature=g-subs-u
My being a fan of Alvarez started long before he ever fought for Bellator. I've been a fan of his literally from the beginning when he was fighting for Ring of Combat and Euphoria. TFK
So I am watching the GP and laughing at K-1 level striking. It's every bit as bad as bad MMA striking. Even Hari looks like shit.
to be honest, Hari personnal life is a mess, and he's looking at a long prison term once he's judged so it's kind of expected that he looks like shit.
Regarding Hendricks vs Condit, it's easy for me to see the odds favoring the guy with world class wrestling and power punching. Hell, Hendricks is one of most decorated wrestlers in the UFC. The problem is Hendricks rarely uses even win not clearly winning the striking battle like with Koscheck and Story. Personally I think Condit is going to make Hendriks look silly before stopping him late.
Typical weigh-in with Diaz and GSP bumping into each other and Dana moving in to separate them. Marquardt made Ellenberger look relatively small.
It's in Croatia, they are practically gifting the fucking title to Cro Cop. He already got a gift in the first round. Then Hari who walked out of the ring fine after his first fight suddenly announces his foot is broken and he's out of the GP. CC will be facing some gassed out scrub in the final, but it's still no gimme.
Unfortunuately, GSP UD 50-45 is pretty much a given imo. Though I must say that GSP doesn't seem that he like getting hit and some of Diaz pitty punches will find the mark. Condit will beat Hendricks. Johny seems to rely too much on his power and Condit not an easy guy to ko.
Would you guys prefer UFC to put on the standard 5 fights with the main event being 5 rounds or 4 fights but Main AND co main 5 rounds ?
for this card, I'd prefer all 5 rounds because apart frome the top 3 fights, it's garbage. Usually, I'd rather have 3 rounds fight except for title fight or number 1 contender fight
I agree with Azazel, it can just make for a long boring drawn out card. Number one contender fights and title fights should have 5 rounds. Keep everything else at 3.
Ronda Rousey vs. Tate/Zingano winner will be the new TUF coaches. Will have both men and women for 135.
Hopefully it's Meisha... Her & Ronda are BOTH Hot, Can BOTH Fight & HATE Each Others Guts... REED:bears:
