Chavez Jr says that he has no problems facing Golovkin later this year. Who wins this if they were to fight?

Gaybox wins clearly, probably by stoppage. Via means of being a light heavyweight, he'll probably give Gaybox a tough-ish fight though, and Gaybox is more hittable than Martinez.

Yeah, I think Chavez Jr's size would be a deciding factor.

Agreed, size only counts for so much when one guy is 10 times better than the other. No way Chavez beats Gennady "Gaybox" Golovkin.

I agree 100%. Would Chavez Jr be the biggest opponent he would face if they were to meet? I think Chavez Jr's power shots would prove more telling.

I agree. I just think Chavez Jr will land some heavy leather which would have more of an impact on how the fight would end up.

No way! I love GGG. He da man. You could see Chavez Jr though taking a more cautious approach to the fight with GGG and being outboxed.

bad fight for ggg. jr is a cheater and belongs at 175 and everyone knows it. ggg should resist the temptation to take this fight. he should go after martinez instead.

The Bottom Line to Golovkin as a Fighter is he's Perfectly Willing to TAKE Some, to Land Some...It's UNWISE to Fight that Way Against a Significantly LARGER Opponent, which Chavez, Jr. CLEARLY is....

    Golovkin's a SLIGHT Favorite in that Matchup, in REED's Opinion...60-40 MAX...More Like 55-45...

 why? I want GGG to win but I think it's a dangerous fight for him and my gut feeling tells me Junior wins.

And if he lands the type of leather he did against Martinez early on against GGG, then what?

He looked like he punched himself out and Martinez was steadying himself.

I think Matthew Macklin is targeting Golovkin, but also heard Macklin wants Geale. Macklin's currently ranked #11 in the WBA rankings.

^ yeah, Macklin's aggressive so he'd bring out the best in Golovkin.

Also, Macklin already beat a better version of Golovkin in Amin Asikainen

have them let his hands go a little bit more and he might not need the 30 seconds

I think Golovkin's more solid around than Asikainen.
