Interesting, in a BoxScene interview, Roy compared this matchup to what Sanchez-Pedroza could have been had they fought in the 80's. It's actually an excellent comparison made by Roy, and shows he has great knowledge on boxing history. It's a shame that fight never happened, but perhaps this can serve as the poor man's version as Donaire is a poor man's Sanchez, and Riggo a poor man's Pedroza.
I really cant pick it. I put a 5er on rigo by decision because the odds were so good so lets just say that's my pick. He'll make Donaire lead and whoever leads has a significant disadvantage in this one.

I got Donaire via KO. I think he's too big, too fast, and too powerful. This one will end in the mid rounds I think.
He's definitely not "basic as fuck". That distinction goes to guys like Abraham, and Pavlik. However, for all Donaire's hype on being such a rare fighter, you'd expect him to make better adjustments. Not saying it would have lead to a win, but a truly special fighter would have made better adjustments and not gotten white washed.
Toney had far more skill, and a far higher ring IQ than Donaire. Less handspeed, and power, but better at virtually everything else.
