Mike that just fought RIOS?....:scratcher: Is it going to be at 140? 147? Or a Mannyweight?

At first I thought it was a hilarious mismatch, but I guess you never know what someone is going to be like after getting KTFO.

good for alvarado. rios vs prodnikov with the winner facing the bradley marquez winner would be fine too

I think Alvarado can beat this version of Manny. If he was to box smart and not get embroiled in a tear-up with Manny he can win on points. Then again, Manny was sparked out cold by Marquez so who knows what Manny's chin is like now.

You can't be serious. Pacquiao would box the shit out of him. His best chance is to try and overwhelm and hurt Pacquiao and hope Pacquiao doesn't really have it anymore.

Alvarado is not exactly hard to hit... Have to favor Pacquiao... even after a loss that must have been psychologically devastating

I figure Alvarado will bravely get outclassed

If Manny isn't completely shot he's got this.

I am serious. Alvarado has a good jab I think and he's taller than Pac by about 3 inches. He's tough as they come. I think he can use his reach to good use. I don't think he wins clearly...no way, but I just have a feeling he can win this if it happens.

Alvarado isn't hard to find, no. He could very well get outclassed but put up a valiant effort.

Alvarado's boxing looked decent against Rios, but Rios is pretty scubby. A little movement makes him look bad.

Yeah but his boxing ability doesn't even come close to Pacquiao, or even Bradley for that matter.

Seeing as Pacquiao outboxed Marquez before getting KTFO, I seriously doubt Alvarado is capable of outboxing Pacquiao for even a round.

Outboxing Rios doesn't make you a great boxer.

Basically yeah. Outboxing Rios and outboxing Pacquiao are 2 very different things.

I hope Manny takes a few decent shots just to see what his reaction is. Hopefully he's not changed but unfortunately most fighters are never quite the same after getting straight KO'd like he was.

Yep...Rios is a STEP Above a Fucking Caveman, in the Skills Department...Just about ANYBODY that Fights Rios will Look like the More "Skillful Boxer", in Comparison...Tim Bradley Looked like a Fairly "Skillful Boxer" Too, Until he Fought Manny Pacquiao...

    Then, Bradley Resembled a JOURNEYMAN...

Best Case Scenario for Alvarado is he Plays it Safe & Loses Unanimously...But If he Tries to Make a Dogfight of it, Manny STOPS Alvarado Mid to Late...

    Choof de fucking choof.

However as I alluded, you never know after a vicious KO like that, how a fighter is going to be.

Manny could be fragile or gunshy, I wouldn't be shocked if Alvarado has success by jumping on Pacquiao and trying to land something big early.

If i was in Alvarado's corner it would be something i would plan to do. Naturally you need a plan B, but i'd want to test Manny's punch resistance and resolve as early as possible.

If I were Alvarado's trainer, I'd tell him to punch Pacquiao really hard in the face.
