Game of Thrones season 3

I love GOT, but so far this third season sucks balls. After 3 episodes NOTHING has happened to advance the plot or made it relevant (oh yeah, someone had a hand chopped...big deal). In three episodes we have watched a total of 10 minutes of the most interesting character, Daenerys Targayen aka Kahleesi and even her scenes have not being that good. And the imp looks domesticated now...I hope this show gets better in the next episodes before I lose interest in it.

 

I think it's still solid. Sometimes it takes a little time to set up the action in order for it to make sense later on. Especially when you are always introducing new characters.

The Theon storyline is the only one I'm not really digging. That whiny cunt should have gotten fucked into the dirt when they had the chance.

 

This season will be awesome so I would hang in there. It is sticking pretty close to the third book so far and the third book was fucking amazing.

So far I think it has been good and expect the next episode to be fantastic.

This one is the least interesting character and still keeps getting his ass saved in almost every episode. OFF WITH HIS HEAD!!!

 

I hope so. I read that the character of the Stark matriarch is a much more stronger authorative character in the books than the ptiful tearful widow/mother in the show.

 

Unless they shit on the source material Walking Dead style it will be good.

I don't really remember Catelyn Stark being much different in the books but I didn't like her in print either. She's a cunt for hating Jon Snow.

 

Well if you only came across one spoiler that was a shocker you should still be in for some big surprises. I can see why they will split book 3 into two seasons because it's packed with holy-fucking-shit moments.

 

They should split the rest of the books so we can have a gazillion seasons!!! The kids (arya, joffrey,etc.) are growing too fast though.

 

I don't like this season's editing job. Is trying to give each character 5 minutes worth of screen time on each episode and this sucks! Having lost the director to THOR: THE DARK WORLD is showing. issed:

 

I kind of agree. I think that the strongest episode so far was Blackwater from last season because they stuck to one setting instead of jumping around. Still, I really enjoyed the last episode. The end scene with Daenerys was pretty bad ass.

I think it's been great. Sometimes I like the dialogue much better then the action. Great scene by the "Kingslayer" this week.

 

Charles Dance has been fucking great as Tywin. Always writing letters or gutting a deer carcass in the middle of one of his monologues while telling one of his kids to just fuck off and do something with your life.

Wouldn't mind seeing this dude bring home an Emmy.

 

Agreed. Charles Dance kills as Tywin. Actually all of the Lannisters are perfectly cast in my opinion.

I've really enjoyed the past few episodes. Rob is trying to maintain honor(like his dad) in the middle of a war and it's biting him in the ass. Jon Snow gets his cherry popped by Ygritte conflicting with his sworn oath. The scene with Jamie and Brienne was fucking brilliant.

Sooo good!

 

Episode 7 was satisfying mainly because Daenerys keep growing as a ruthless powerful leader mother of dragons. Theon will have lost his most precious possesion and Jamie showed he is more noble than he first appeared. Good episode...even though the Jon Snow trek keeps boring me as well as the crippled boy's.

That red dragon looks evil. I would love to see Daenerys as queen and everyone else turned into ashes at the end of the books.

 

The penultimate episode of Game of Thrones is rough if your name is Ned Stark. Man I love this show!

Episode 9...:stunned: how can they top this in the next season finale episode? this was a total jaw droping shocker.

 

They don't. 2nd to last show of the season is always the game changer for this series. Finale will be setting up next season.

 

That was unreal. Probably the best TV Ive ever seen.

Ah've alsae read the books (so far) and the gruesome scene being talked aboot was like Anthony slapping me in the face wi' a wet fish, when Ah first read it. Jings! It was such a shock.
