Apart from Haye's right hand Povetkin isn't slower than him. It is just that Povetkin can't slip any punch that comes to his general direction

I haven't seen any of Pov's recent fights, but he didn't used to be slow at all.

He had faster hands than Byrd, and that Povetkin had faster hands than Haye for sure. Good combo speed too.

In fact it was probably the best thing about Povetkin, his handspeed and combos.

Haye is going to fight someone he can nail and then go home.

I think he has a great shot at Vitali but I don't think Vitlai will take the fight.

Haye will knock Tyson Fury into next week.

Before the Cunningham fight, I believed Fury would beat Haye. Now, I don't think he would.

Furious is a sucker for the right hand, and Haye does have one of those, a damn sight harder than Cunninghams.

Haye-Fury would be great, actually. Gerrit made.

I'd still like to see Fury fight the big stiff idiot, too

Furby-face Fisher Price? Yeah me too, he'd have too much fight in him for the big stiff idiot

Price would knock Furry out cold. Haye would stop him but not as brutally as Price would.

He wouldn't. The way he reacted to a little cuff on the neck by Fat Tony does note bode well for him against any heavyweight with a dig and a bit of fight in them.

Fury would destroy Price. I agree with Jimmy though, beforehand I would have picked Fury, now I'd probably pick Haye.

Can't stand Haye personally, but yeah he'd probably brutalise Furry. Would be interesting though.

I said it at the time and it holds true now.....Thompson burst the guys eardrum. Price was perfectly alright but his balance was completely gone. He signed to fight a rematch immediately and even said he would go to the USA so its obvious that he doesn't feel he was hurt in the usual sense of the word. It's worth pointing out that we have seem him cracked with far harder shots in the pros and the ams and get hurt but never go out like that. Also, Fury himself had very little- if anything- to say about that loss of Price's and that merely confirms my suspicions about how Fury feels about any fight with Price.

That Cunningham was able to land that right hand solid all night and had Fury down. Cunningham does not have the power Haye does. I still see it as a winnable fight however for Fury, but he gets so complacent.

Price is vulnerable to anyone with good feet and good movement and to punches he doesn't see. Furry is a massive, lumbering sloth with no movement and his punches can be telegraphed ten miles off. Price has legitimate one punch heavyweight KO power. Furry was knocked over by a career cruiserweight and was hurt several other times. Additionally, Furry is an absolute sucker for the right hand, which is Price's money punch.

Net result is that Price would ice Furry.

Furry has faster hands than Price, and seems less predictable too. Fury gets buzzed but recovers. Pretty confident Furball would win.

He would need to be refurbished when Price was through with him.

Fury is getting buzzed by fucking bumble bees who languish on the dusty pollen-laden petals of Powder Puff Land. He would be a mere Keatsian bubble, winking at the brim, by the time Price was through with him. Bacchus and his pards would be powerless to help him, the drunken Irish scroff. He may yet wind up like Irish Jack Doyle, beating on pregnant Polynesians and threatening to pen a book and blowing small fortunes on lavish, tri-axled homes.

Its an event I would pay not just to see but be at in person, like Egan himself {that's Pierce not Kenny} , mixing with the Tara Ponce Tonkinsons and hedge-dwellers of Uttoxeter, the stench of Ben Sherman would hang on every guttural syllable, as the rich sluts up from Mayfair, who came to get a bit of a David Haye or sich like, mingled freely with the lower , more base elements of the periodic table of society. Gold meets Sulphur in a clash of filth and botox and talcum powdered nipples, freshly shaven legs askew in desperate hope that some rich footballer might drop a load which paid rich dividends 9 months or so down the line.

    Classy, classy, classy people.

I still like Price's chances against Fury.

He has a great chance, its called Power. Fury won't fight him, he hates the other dogs getting a dish of mash, same as his. He wants the mash, all the mash for him. Price said it best, "der lad sownds like a fuel".

With Price though, he's just so robotic and one-dimensional. Fury has more about him, but I could see Price measuring him and timing that right hand. If that lands flush on Fury's chin I think he's a gonner.

Dereck Chisora looked like shite last night. Took him 10 rounds or so to beat a well overmatched opponent.

Furry has decent handspeed, faster than Thompson who was able to catch Price blind. Price of course has the power to take the Murp out, but I'd go with Furry as I think, like Mex says, he's a bit less predictable. I know Price out pointed Furry as an amateur, but he did get dropped right?

Until Fury gets knocked out by a glancing cuff from a 40 year old fighter, you'd pretty much HAVE to favour him to beat Price
