Mesi was hardly "struggling" with Jirov until he gassed. Morrison's stamina was hardly the stuff of legend..

Jirov ENDED Mesi's Career...Jirov WOULDN'T have Ended Morrison's Career, Nor Would he have Lasted Enough Rounds to Turn the Tide in that Fight...

    Morrison > Mesi

Jirov didn't end Mesi's career per se, though the (illegal) blows to the back of the head almost certainly contributed to the subdural hematoma he suffered. Nevertheless, the point is that Mesi was not struggling with Jirov, he was beating the shit out of him until he gassed.

Morrison, for his part, struggled with Ross Puritty & got stopped by Bentt in one round.

What's with Ross Puritty giving so many problems to the white man?

    Racist he is.

I'd rate Morrison probably slightly better, but they both were chinny bastards with no gas tanks

The FACT of the Matter is, You have to Qualify your Statement w/the Word "Until", Which Takes Us BACK to Square One; Mesi STRUGGLED w/Jirov...Which he Did...

If Morrison Hit Jirov w/Half, Fuck It, a 3rd of the Shots Mesi Did, the Fight WOULDN'T have Gotten to the Point that he Could "Gas" & Struggle, as Mesi Did...

    Morrison > Mesi....

Ross Purritty. Whatever Jirov at heavy was, and I would say he's better than you're giving him credit for, but whatever, he was way, way better than Purritty. Mesi doesn't have anything remotely similar in his career to the struggle Morrison had with Purritty or someone of that level. Morrison (and Mercer that same telecast) were rescued from deserved losses by bad judging. Do you dispute that?

So how do you explain the Purritty fight and its implications on Morrison and the fact that Mesi has nothing similar in his career?

The point isn't that Morrison couldn't knock him out, it's that he lost multiple rounds in the fight. Enough that he shouldn't have gotten the decision.

We don't need to argue chins. They both sucked, but good luck saying Morrison's was better.

Great. So they both would then have a win over Jirov. I said they were similar. And they were.

But Mesi isn't losing or drawing to Purritty. Ever.

Morrison's best win was over Union Cane, a win that has a glaring similarity with his HOF characteristics and his supposed superiority over Mesi.

I bet Morrison would have blasted Joe Hipp and a faded Razor Ruddock away with no difficulty. ummm

Let's see how Tui Toia fares against this monster!

my pov pretty much, I think it's ridiculous to act like Morrison was leagues better though. Mesi's chin was probably better than Morrison's, up to the point where he tended to gas. He never got blasted out in one round by a 10 fight bum like Michael Bentt.

"Most definitely" is hyperbole here, you're not comparing Jirov to Lennox Lewis, or hell, even Kirk Johnson or Eddie Chambers (both of whom Puritty lost to). Vasily Jirov was "Most Definitely" better than Michael Bentt, though.

Based on WHAT Exactly???...Jirov LACKS a SINGLE Meaningful Win @ Heavyweight...NOT EVEN 1...For All of your FAUX Intelligence, You Need to Look Up the Word "Hyperbole"....
