FINAL PREDICTION: Danny Garcia vs. Zab Judah

Yeah, Garcia's not the quickest on his feet and he doesn't have the fastest hands, but I think he's got pretty good timing. As feebs said, that's down to him being smart, but I still think Zab will pose problems for him with his movement, slipperiness and because he's a southpaw.

I'm always saying this but....I don't really see the evidence he's 'shot'. From what i saw he looked fine in his last fight. Came off two very good wins pre Khan. I'm not saying he's not, I'm just saying I don't see any reason to be so sure. Not 12-1 sure anyway.

 

He's lost to everyone half decent he's fought since Baldomir in 2006 and his only decent win in that time is Matthysse, and he is poo. His performance against Khan was absolutely dreadful; he looked utterly fucking lost against a tall powderpuff boxbot. I honestly think Garcia is a bit better than people want to think; it's much more fun to presume that the boxbot lost to another chump. I'd be very surprised if Garcia doesn't win this.

Young Zab who needed a split decision to beat Corley, dropped multiple rounds to Reggie Green, got put on his ass by Millet? He's lost a bit of speed but apart from that - pretty much the same Zab.

I am no Zab Judah fan. I think he's shit and always has been fairly shit. But the younger version was fairly quick and that might have been enough to beat Garcia. Without his speed he has absolutely fuck all.

I reiterate that I think Garcia is a little bit better than pretty much everyone round here thinks he is. That's a key factor in my pick.
