I hear ya Buddy, but I had to get him in the ring again with anyone and this guy agreed to the fight.

That right hand that put him to sleep would have iced anyone, Buddy.

It was a brutal right after the jab and then lights out.

People here can type all kinds of silly responses through envy and jealousy as the majority of folks that type that crap lack the stones to try boxing for themselves, but this guy is a murderous hitter and people in the boxing world are going to have to get used to him being in the top ten for the next 5 years or so whether they like it or not, they are just going to have to learn to deal with whether they like it or not.

Now, of course no one here is going to get in the ring with the guy or even say shit to his face, he can be a very menacing man and wouldn't hesitate to beat someone half to death in the ring or on the street when provoked or challenged, but they would have to make the first move and I don't think anyone here has the balls to do that.

Bottom Line: Henry is a nice guy and can be a real credit to the sport when he wins a title, he is a gentleman and a heck of a fighter, IMO.

    Thanks for the feedback.

I see what you're saying. It does make sense as far as knocking some of the rust off. Hopefully he gets a quality opponent soon. I look forward to watching him fight.

Sir, you're what we politely refer to in Glasgow as a 'bit of a fandan'.

When was the last time Scotland produced a champion? Jim Watt?

i dont know cool breeze henry personally, but most of the pcp users around these parts would not be considered gentleman. its not exactly a recreational drug, either.

That was B.S. he tested negative for drugs a few years back regarding that incident.

Glasgow has had two world champs this decade (Scott Harisson & Ricky Burns). Thanks for asking.

Harrison was back in the 90's, they were IMO not true world champions, rather claimants.

Harrison was an utter alcoholic and mentally ill chap who disgraced the belt, IMO.

whatever could have caused the authorities to speculate he was using pcp?

It wasn't the "authorities" here, it was a jilted ex-girlfriend that made the unsubstantiated allegations, which proved to be false.

Yes, I told you already he was from Glasgow

But no, Harisson was champ in the first half of the naughties

Wasn't Harrison going to make a come back recently?

I think so. He'll get arrested for stabbing a copper with a heroin needle or drink-driving a stolen car over a war memorial statue & 6 Japanese tourists before we ever see that though.

Remember when Alex Arthur was considered a big time prospect he had several hardcore fans on these boards:shadow:

Is Arthur still going? He was fairly decent, and holds a win over Ricky Burns if I remember correctly. He was pretty stand up though and had a shaky chin

Fine. Henry moves to heavyweight to make money (he didn't go there because he thinks he can win). Let's not pretend it's because anyone's ducking him at 175.

Bute was hurt in an exchange while sparring with Chris. His left hand may be broken and a rib may as well. Henry was offered to Pascal as a replacement, but Jean does not want to fight him at this time.

I'll post more updates when I hear from him.
