Just read the post-fight report. Seem a tepid affair. Floyd would-not, Guerrero could-not type of thing.

It was frustrating to watch...The crowd booed them both and I don't blame them.

Yes, really. It doesn't happen to me often when I watch a live fight but a mix of exhaustion and boredom got the best of me.

Floyd make it look so easy. Still looks sharp and fast.

I wonder if Floyd's hands were the problem because he beat the crap out of Ghost in round 8 and then went into safe mode. He quit going to the body around that time as well.

It was a masterclass from Floyd. Definitely worth a watch.

    Broner will never happen.

Canelo is a possibility but he's not that good either and IMO lost that fight to Trout.

Pacquiao I think is done. He'll come back and probably beat Alvarado but I don't think Pac wants to fight anymore. He's just doing it because of the pressure from fans and Bob Arum.

Martinez is a possibility for sure. But he is up there in age now. Be that as it may, it would be a big even at this point and its a fight Floyd could retire off of.

It was a typical Floyd fight. Like Jimmy said, good for a one time watch.

It wasn't as good as the last four or five Floyd fights have been, IMO. More holding, less fighting inside, more movement.

I agree, it wasn't as good a fight as a whole in terms of Floyd being tested, but he was just too slick, smart and on the money against Guerrero. People say Guerrero should have gone for it more, but to be honest I put that down to Floyd and how he made it so difficult for Guerrero. Guerrero couldn't adjust and come up with a plan B.

Yeah, he wasn't like a typical wald pussy opponent who didn't train or show up to win. Floyd's just too good.

pbf held quite a bit. haven't seen him hold so much. and byrd was quick to the cue. the second pbf held, he could count on byrd to be there to restart the action.

was actually surprised how many good body shots guerrerro landed.

pbf definitely had some trouble early on but eventually he figured out how to cope.

i thought it was an ok fight. saw some people complaining that it was boring or they were leaving. most i deemed to be cage fight enthusiasts. it was a predictable matchup. mayweather sr in the corner means less of his son in the pocket.

funny reading some fat espn turd on twitter praising the fight as a masterpiece when he shitted on rigondeaux's win over a much more dangerous and compelling foe.

I can see why floyd has no motivation to stay busy. Making $50 mill or whatever per fight...who the hell needs to be active? :bears: Just fight once per year. Too bad there's no good fighters around at all to test him. This guy needs to be a business teacher for boxers and show them how to protect their money and make the most they can in their careers.

The fight was a bit frustrating and tedious at the time, Guerrero was outclassed, and the matchup just wasn't compelling at all. Plus Floyd could have turned it up big style.

However, Floyd looked excellent. Sure he held a lot, and moved more, fought inside less, but looked VERY sharp and barely put a foot wrong. He looked better than the Ortiz and Cotto fights but "Like I said before" that could be largely down to how ineffective Gurrardo was.

Why hasn't Floyd called out Pacquaio ever since Pacquaio was knocked into next year? Wouldn't now be the time for Floyd to make that fight as it ensures Pacman is emotionally damaged, probably weaker and far less confident now and is basically ripe for the pickings. That's still by far the most marketable fight in boxing. Definitely Floyd's biggest payday. People would still watch that fight as they'd think Pacman just got caught by a lucky punch against Marquez and is still capable of going to war with Floyd and having a chance.

Floyd could have turned it on more but he did say he hurt his right hand. I think he said he hurt it around the 6th.

It wouldn't surprise me being it collided with the Ghost's face 10 million times.

Who knows, it's bizarre. At this stage I doubt Pacquiao has much left, we'll see against Alvarado, yet Floyd looks at the top of his game.

Promoter conflicts or not, you'd think Floyd would jump at the chance now, you'd have to think it would be a relatively easy fight at this stage, for a fuck load of money.

It's never happening. Boxing is as split as it's ever been right now. Floyd's not fighting anyone who isn't under the Haymon/Golden Boy banner.

I hope a honey badger signs with Golden Boy.
