Interesting fight because I dont' think either guy has the power to hurt the other.

I think Khan would probably outwork him but it would be competitive.

The Roach mentality is ingrained in him and if he's ever gonna improve, it'll take a while for him to make a total change.

But one difference you can see is that Khan is actually HOLDING when he's in trouble whereas with Roach he was just trying to fight his way out of trouble everytime despite not having the chin to take the punches nor the power to really hurt the other guy.

Roach is still garbage, Mex.

 

That's just not true Puerto. As me and other Brits can attest to that have seen Khan since his amateur days, it's the amateur mentality that's ingrained in him, and it's for that reason he's never really changed as a pro, and never will really change either. He's always been the same really.

It's what I was trying to tell you before, Khan just is what he is, a retarded, speedy amateur, with no chin and a lot of heart. Nothing Roach did changed Khan for the bad, and nothing ANY trainer can do will really change Khan much for the better either, he'll never be a skilled boxer with a high ring IQ, and he'll never have good defense.

 

If Khan fights Floyd there's going to be Khanage.

Yup. I've watched every single pro Khan fight and quite a few of his ammy fights and I can't disagree with any of what you say. Khan hasn't changed a bit in all the years I've watched him and he is exactly as you describe.
