Power? Khan isn't even a puncher. Ortiz hits much harder, Cotto obviously does at 154 too. I'm not even sure Khan would hit as hard as Guerrero at 147. His shots are fast and they obviously sting, but he doesn't have proper power.

Floyd Vs Khan would be a massacre. I used to think Khan's handspeed, range, and speed would trouble Floyd for a couple of rounds, now I don't even think that. Khan is just so stupid, predictable and hittable, I think it would be target practice from round 1 or 2.

If Floyd DOESN'T Face Canelo &/or Martinez in his Next 5 Fights, REED "Predicts" He'll Spend ALOT MORE Mayweather Fightnights SLEEPING, as Opposed to Going to a Sports Bar to Watch it...

It's Bad Enough Floyd vs. DeLa is THE LAST Boxing PPV REED's Ordered, but Floyd's about to Dissuade REED from Watching ANY Of his PPV's LIVE (ALTOGETHER), w/these Lame Ass, FOREGONE CONCLUSION Bouts...

REED'll just Catch the Replay the Following Weekend...The ONLY Possible Exception is if he Fought Khan, as STYLISTICALLY, Khan would Be a Rather UNIQUE Opponent...But Garcia, Ortiz II, Matttthhhhyyyysse, Bradley, Marquez II???...No Thanks...

I used to think that Khan would give Floyd trouble, but I don't now. Floyd would counter Khan with ease and put him on his arse early. Wouldn't go more than 5 rounds.

One clean right hand from Mayweather and it's lights out for Khan. The guy's chin is just complete shit.

Probably but the early rounds would at least be interesting. PBF v Garcia / Ortiz are 12 round shut outs..:boring:

    Think about it...

A TALL Fighter w/HANDSPEED & a GOOD Set of WHEELS, FORCING Mayweather to Lead & Chase him???...The Onus would be on Floyd to APPLY PRESSURE, To Come OUT of his Counterpunching Comfort Zone...He's the Guy Getting 32 Mil +, Per Fight...He's the STAR of the Promotion...

By NO Means is REED Suggesting Khan Could OUTBOX Floyd Mayweather, but he Could Create Some STYLISTIC Difficulties for Floyd, Along the Way...

Floyd Still Figures him Out, Eventually, but it'd Be INTERESTING to See how he Coped w/HAVING to Be the Aggressor, Against a Loooong, Young & AFFletik Opponent...

Manny. He should have fought Manny. I said that three years ago and swore I wouldn't watch a fight he had other than that. I stuck by it.

I just don't think Khan even has it in him to do what you're suggesting. He doesn't have the skill, brain, or discipline. He'll fall into trap after trap, even if he plans to make Floyd lead.

He'll quickly resort to the only thing he knows how, mindless button mashing with his fast, rangey punches.

I agree, I think that Khan could give Floyd major problems if he can take his punch. That's why I like the Alexander fight for Khan, it will gives us another compelling piece of the puzzle and, if Khan's wins impressively, makes the Floyd fight sellable imo.

Look at this thread. We have all kinds of options offered because Mayweather Jr has won. He avoided the biggest fight in most of our lifetimes (or at least it was up there) and let Manny get robbed (Timmy) and then fucked (JMM), so now the Manny fight is immaterial.

Bullshit. That was the fight. And he shit it.

So did Manny. Both sides are to blame...Floyd, being more independent, is easier to blame individually than Pacquiao. But both sides fucked us here.

Both were content to make 8 figures against B-sides, rather than sharing the purse.

Agreed with Feebs and Reed. Like it or not, swerving that fight has done irreparable damage to Floyds legacy

Nah, Floyd takes much more of the blame here. Manny at least fought live bodies. Floyd has had three fights in three years; one against 'ghost', the other a 'young hungry lion' and the other the dregs of Cotto. That's one live opponent in three years. And this from the best boxer of this generation. Not good enough.
