Who cares. Too little, too late so far as I am concerned. There is nothing worthwhile available now; that is Mayweather's perfect scenario.

I don't know but it would be fucking great to see

Might be surprising, growing up I was always curious to see how Naz would react to a loss. When it finally happened I was surprised to see how cool he was in the post-fight interview, took it on the chin and gave MAB full credit, not quite sure Floyd would be the same

Which ones? The leftovers of Floyd? The leftover of Mosley

I don't see Manny's comp as superior to Floyd's at all during their respective 140+ careers

No. They both fought essentially the same guys. Manny's more exciting, smaller and dumber...so he's been given the benefit of the doubt.

Floyd and Arum both take lots of blame here. It's trendy to lay all the blame with Floyd, but Top Rank/Manny were always content to fight for huge dollars against guys who didn't have any leverage.

Difficult to know, would a loss encourage a fight with Pac? I wouldn't imagine so. I'd say he'd call it a day(for real this time)

Well, Manny started as a flyweight, but starting from his breakout 140lb win against Hatton, he fought and beat:

    Cotto
    Clottey
    Margacheato
    Mosley
    JMM
Bradley (robbed but no-one sensible thinks he lost that)

In the same time, Floyd has fought:

    JMM
    Ortiz
    Cotto
    Ghost

More importantly, they didn't fight each other.

Bullshit. Mayweather Jr has had three fights in three years. Two of those were complete mismatches and the third was against a guy that Manny punched to ribbons previously.

Choof de fucking choof. It was Floyd who started putting obstacles in the way of the fight from the get go.

I don't like this leftovers talk. Might as well retire after one loss these days, fans will find something to nitpick. You fight enough top guys you lose. How many undefeated guys were hanging around 140-147 while Manny and Floyd were there? How many all time greats retired undefeated? They're all someone's "Leftovers"

    Sorry MTF,
I am bored a litle bit.

Second of all, I am tired of the childish Wald pussy bullshit hypocrisy. The same guys that hate on Wlad are the same guys that are hugging Mayweather's balls. My recent posts are not more childish than the Wald pussy posts.

Why doesn't Floyd get Mosley on his list?

You're wrong about this. Both sides were content to pass on the fight.

Think about it. Both were making huge, HUGE money fighting guys they didn't have to share with. Think about how much more money a Floyd/PAC fight would have to generate for the sides to split the purse and make way more than they've ever made.

The Top Rank/Pacquiao side was better on the PR side. I'll give them that. But they didn't want the fight either.

    You guys got conned.

Yeah, but Prince Only Fought 1 More Time....He was Fine in the IMMEDIATE Aftermath, but REED Thinks it's Safe to Say that LOSING Affected Prince MUCH More than we'll Ever Know...

Again, he Fought a TOTAL of 1 More Time After that & is now CLOSER to Wlad Klit's Weight than his Own Prime Fighting Weight...

Both of those guys were comprehensively defeated by Floyd first

Hatton was also first beaten (again, comprehensively) by Floyd

De La Hoya was shopworn but not shot when Mayweather decisioned him... He was shot when Pacquiao beat him

Margarito was brutally stopped by Mosley, took a year and a half off, decisioned a nobody and then got Pacquiao

If Mayweather had fought these guys at these junctures, he'd have been crucified for it... Pacquaio gets the "wow, look at the flyweight!" stuff ... it's bullshit... the guy was killing himself to make Flyweight at 20 years old... It's like saying Jack Dempsey knocked out a featherweight when he KOd Georges Carpentier

If you paid actual money to watch the best fighter of our generation fight 'ghost', I'm afraid the only one who got conned was you.

In the context of anointing Pacquiao as sportsman of the decade and Floyd as a shyster, it's DAMNED relevant

    The hypocrisy here is intense

Oh aye, I agree with all of that, I thought TKO meant how would Floyd react in the immediate sense. In terms of his career it would be interesting, in some ways I wish Castillo had been given the decision over Floyd the first time round (even though I thought Mayweather sneaked it). I think without the 0 to hang his hat on he would have ended up having a much greater career - and the big fights would have happened.

Well, actually, JMM had fought Pac twice before Mayweather and was 1-1. With innumerous knockdowns. Mosely fought Mayweather and Floyd was badly hurt in the second. Pac dropped Shane and Shane ran for his life afterwards. Hatton lost to Floyd at 147 whilst Pac sparked him in two rounds at 140 where no-one had ever beaten him. See how things can get flipped around?

If you want to defend Floyd, good luck to you. That's what keeps 'money' doing what he does.

    MTF
