Yeah, I mean I do think Plasterito is just a big scrub, but the sheer size, aggression and toughness of him still makes that an impressive win for Pacquiao.

Yep, that's just it. I know he's not great by any means, but Margarito is a big tough guy. It was great seeing tiny little Pac beat the shit out of him.

Because it is Mayweather we are talking about

Like I said, if we reverse the 140+ resumes of these guys, the achievements you guys now fellate Pacquiao for are dismissed and derided

"Pacquaio beat them first!" would be shouted non-stop... instead it is tip-toed around because in most of these cases it was Floyd who beat them first

I have no axe to grind, I dislike both of these cunts but Pac has more of a "good guy" image and lacks the command of hip-hoppity American vernacular needed to talk trash the way Floyd does so he gets a pass for being a pick-and-choose, catchweight manipulating, scared-of-needles bullshit artist while the obnoxious, cuntish Floyd is lambasted... The whole thing nauseates me.

You must have me confused with someone else who's not in touch with reality. I never say that stupid shit about who beat who first.

In this case? Obviously. Why would you? You are suckling at the teats of PAC-MAN and this particular point of view would be disastrous for you

I stand by what I said... reverse the 140+ resumes and the same guys absolving Pac, lovingly tussling his thick, varnished locks would be crucifying the obnoxious Mayweather

    I don't swing that way.

What is crazy to me is there are people who don't like Manny. I cannot understand for the life of me why. He's a very exciting and great fighter.

    Z, be real with me...

Do you want to sit behind Manny on a horse and hold on to his chest from behind while you ride buck-ass naked through the country side to the little town where there is a corner store that sells MOTHERFUCKIN' FLIP PHONES?

About as much as you want to throw a saddle on Mayweather and ride him around whilst he squeals "I'm a pony, I'm a pony"

I don't like Mayweather, I am just being an objective observer of two charlatans

    You looooove that Pac-Man

You find it INCONCEIVABLE that anyone wouldn't love him

Mayweather-Guerrero allegedly did well under a million buys and Showtime is going to take a hit.

What do you guys think is the biggest factor?

1: Showtime being a new face in PPV? Being worse at promotion than HBO?

2: Mayweather's reputation taking a hit with his domestic violence incarceration?

3: Fans wising up and not buying into the hype of a guy like Robert Guerrero who was clearly overmatched?

    What do you guys think.

I think it is 2 myself.

I would say anything but #2. Probably a combo of 1 and 3.

I don't think people care when athletes go to jail.

    agREED...

Especially when it Comes to Combative Sports, Fans DON'T Give a Flying Fuck about Jail Time...1 & 3, Definitely...This is Actually GOOD News for Boxing Fans, as Now Floyd'll HAVE to Face a More LEGITIMATE Foe...

Actually, Floyd'll Probably CONVINCE Showtime Into Another Lukewarm Opponent & If/When THAT Promotion Fails, THEN They'll FORCE Floyd's Hand OR Opt Out of the Contract, ASSuming they Can...

Still, this is GOOD News, as it Shows Showtime, Golden Boy AND Floyd that they/he CAN'T just Fight Anybody...

showtime has fewer subscribers. therefore, fewer watch 360 than 24/7. therefore, fewer are seduced into wasting their money. that's one factor. but i think #3 is also a factor.

another is that pbf didn't have pacquiao to help him promote this one. there's no longer any pretense of a possible match up between them, and hence we couldn't be dragged along in anticipation of them fighting only to find out pbf would be facing someone else.

pbf we will find out depended heavily on pacquiao to promote his fights.

    GOOD fuck 'em.....

HBO hype machine is a lot bigger and stronger than Showtime...

Floyd vs. Guerrero was a shit fight..not even Mejicans could get behind Guerrero garbage ass...

I think it's a combination of HBO being better at hyping up a fight/fighter(Guerrero) and fans just getting tired of the same shit from Floyd. Mejicans fans knew Marquez was outgun by Floyd...they build anyways it's motherfucking Juan Manuel Marquez...plus that fight had a nice angle of Marquez giving Pacquiao 2 hard fights...

Cotto was a bit past his prime and had taken a ton of punishment...but fuck IT, it's Cotto if he wins great, if he lose he is getting busted up....plus he will bring it...PLUS it was a SUPERFIGHT of 2006-2008 that never happen...

Guerrero was GARBAGE a fucking Lightweight who only claim at the higher weights was beating ANDRE "Bum ass" Berto...and in the process jumping over Rios, Maidana, Bradley, Garcia, and other TOP opponents that had he fought would have put a few L in his resume before Floyd did..

How the fuck does Mayweather vs. Ortiz...quitting bitch ass ORTIZ do 1.25 mil ppv buys? HBO hype machine.....24/7 all that good shit...Showtime can't fuck with HBO production team...

but who knows....Maybe the PPV does okay 1.2 million...

Other than Canelo....the next big ppv buying fight for Mayweather would be a rematch against MARQUEZ....I mean we know Mayweather is going to dominate him again...but People might be compelled to buy just to see if Marquez can pull out another upset....easy 1 million + buys...

Yeah plus Marquez already said he didn't want to go a 2nd time with Floyd....and it would be dumb. Unless he was offered 15-20 million then he might consider it I guess....Bradley is probably going to end Marquez 15 minutes of ko' Pacquiao fame.....:Alabama:
