Also again, you base your assumption of training habits to how guys look, not knowing whether or not they work their ass off. Or are you saying to me that Olympic style wrestlers and weightlifters do NOT train? It could be that the fighters now don't train CORRECTLY, especially past prime Solis and Chagaev (who in his prime weighed 230 lbs), but then again, neither o Haye, Briggs, Bruno etc hot guys
no I could have used the massive 5 feet 10 , 235 lbs james toney, if I really wanted to cherry picked
No, I base it on theyr sluggish pace, and the fact that the're huffing and puffing after a few rounds. And also you're making the assumption that current hw are stronger than the one in the 80's just beacuse they are fat. Being as fat as a power lifter doesnt mean your as strong as one.
Chagaev is probably taller than 5'11". He's listed as either 5'11" or 6'1". It's hard to tell, but I don't think he was giving up 3 inches to Ruiz or Povetkin who are both 6'2".
A world class boxer who "works their ass off" in training and eats a proper diet will not be fat. Olympic superheavy weightlifters (for example) have very different goals from boxers, for them being fat doesn't hinder their goals at all, while cutting weight certainly would. This post wouldn't be complete if I didn't finish it with "duh."
