Fury's asking for trouble with all this. He needs to forget this UFC dude and concentrate on boxing. Purse bids for Fury-Pulev on May 28.

this is a cagefighting thread all of the sudden?

You don't want to hear dissenting opinions about the gayge, stay in the cagefighting forum where no one says anything and it is all rainbows and sunshine and everybody wears a TAPOUT shirt and track pants. Out here, there's no protection from those who dismiss the gayge

    Nobody is trolling anything

This is not the MMA section, I can say whatever the fuck I want about cagefighting here

Soccer doesn't have it's own forum

You need to get a grip

Sure, for about half the money he would make for his next boxing fight

Does Fury make more than a half a million per fight? That's how much fat Toney got to "fight" in the UFC.

There's no way they pay Fury half a mil for a cagefight

They paid James Toney that much so I don't see why not.

Toney was a name in the US and was fat, small and didn't like to train. I don't know how much Fury makes per fight but I expect him to make a fair chunk of money in his next fight (elimantor vs Pulev) a he hit the jackpot if he wins it (next fight vs a Klithsko). There's no way imo that the UFC makes a decent offer to Fury, they have too much to lose and nearly nothing to win. Fury is young, in his prime, not known in the US, won't come here only for the paycheck and worst of all, he's fucking huge. All things Toney wasn't. Don't get me wrong, I don't think he'd beat Velasquez or even be competitive in a MMA fight, but the risks reward ratio is really not good for the UFC on this one so they'll pass imo

Fury isn't serious about it anyway so I see no way it happens. Whatever offer they make he wouldn't take it. As close as he is to a title shot it wouldn't be very smart for him anyway. Pulev will probably whoop him though.
