the fight doesnt interest me much. if it happened it would be dull. you guys think its your best shot to see mayweather jr. defeated so you hope it can happen. against some kid 15 years younger and 20 lbs heavier

right and those two combined made about half of what alvarez will command, and both fought mayweather jr at welterweight.

I wasnt impressed by either victory. Neither rank among the top 15 wins of Mayweather jr.'s career.

Sure I want to see Floyd challenged. I don't want to see any more crappy PPV sparring sessions against guys with no hope.

if he fights alvarez it will be 10 times more boring then any of his recent fights. you think he'll engage a man who is 20lbs heavier?

if they fight everyone will claim mayweather jr ran and is a pussy.

yep, it seems floyd fans rather have him make a big cheque vs an underwhelming opponent (and then brag about his star power) rather than having him in tough meaningful fight. I love watching Floyd fight, but I just can't get interested in even finding a stream when he's fighitng the Robert Guerrero of the world.

he wouldn't even engage fucking Baldomir. Of course he won't. Does that mean they shouldn't fight though? It's like you want him to just keep having easy paydays. Are you a boxing fan or not?

There is nothing ridiculous about it. What is ridiculous is you are one of the biggest Mayweather nuthuggers on here and have been for fucking years and then you blatantly lie and say "I hate Mayweather" but there you are defending him at every turn. THAT is ridiculous.

i said mayweather jr would beat baldomir easily and it would not be an entertaining fight. i said that if mayweather jr fought margarito it would be an extremely boring fight, and Im saying the same thing for alvarez. i want to see mayweather jr in entertaining fights and at this point there really arent many that would be entertaining opponents for him at this stage of his career.

if mayweather jr is going to move up in weight to fight a bigger guy he may as well face the middleweight champion who he can short change and make all the profits. as well as become the legitimate champion of another weight class.

another thing to consider is that mayweather jr would fight a very negative style against alvarez and would be susceptible to getting robbed. golden boy BADLY wants alvarez to get that decision.

How funny do you think Sly would find the description of me as a "Mayweather Nuthugger"?

mayweather jr and pacquiao are far closer in weight in the ring than alvarez and mayweather jr.
