Peterson vs Matthyse

We all want to see the winner face Garcia to see who is the true champ of the 140lb division. If that happens we're happy.

 

Peterson has a real shot to outbox this guy, going with Lamont here.

 

Judah did okay(survive) vs. Matthyse....won a few rounds, didn't get KO....I see Peterson improving on that...though he doesnt' have the punching power or speed of a JUDAH....


If Peterson can't get Matthyse to respect his power a bit(i don't think he can outbox him)...he is getting KO'ed...

 

I hope Matthysse wins but my gut tells me Peterson will win on points in a 7 rounds to 5 kind of fight.

Ultimately, REED Thinks Mattthhhyyssse HAS to KO Peterson to Win...If he Doesn't Peterson will Prevail via ACTIVITY & (Slightly) Better Defense...NOT the Most Definitive Prediction, but that's what REED Thinks it Boils Down To...\

Sticking with my original pick. Matthyse stops Lamont late. Either that, or he scores one or two KD's, and beats Lamont up bad enough down the stretch to earn the win.

 

My pick is Mmaatthhyyssee by decision in a fight where two factors are a large part of the scoring:

1) A knockdown or two by Lucas

2) The accumulation of hard body shots leads to a tired, fading Peterson late in the fight allowing Lucas to close with a rush...

I predict Peterson will be ahead at the halfway point
