Haye is a former cruiser too, I wouldn't call him a small HW though. By the time he fought Lewis, Holyfield hadn't been a cruiser for what, 12 years? 12 years ago Floyd was a 130 lb super feather, and not a big one either. Aside from LOK, are the rest of us going to start referring to him as a super feather from now on?

My interpretation was always that Lennox went for a KO in two circumstances. The first (rarer) was basically after making the same calculation Wlad makes - that a guy poses no threat or is looking for a place to lie down. The second was when he either felt going in, or he found early on, that he couldn't 'defuse' a guy and outbox them safely so the best fall back was to jump on them. Usually guys with height or with good jabs. Golota, Ruddock, Briggs, Grant, Vitali etc.

what do you base this on? I had no horse in that race, because the debate was stupid to begin with

LOL at "Low Level of education" ... if only I were as brilliant as a dope with a Carlos The Jackal avatar who is universally regarded as one of the dumbest cunts on this forum

I based it on your idiotic post in wich you tried to interpret these what it meant.

Anyway, we diverge from the point of this discussion. If you want to believe that the talent pool was bigger in the 1920's, be my guest, but it isn't based on any concrete facts. World population and US population was about 3 times lower, and boxing wasn't as international as it is now, and racial laws was hindering a lot of talent to develop. Yes the popularity in the US has wane a lot, but it's been booming in other parts of the world.

when has wald pussy made such a calculation since about 2001 or so?

What, he needed some rounds before he figured Mormeck wasn't a threat? He acted like he was in there with Mike Tyson

:giggle: you can't make this stuff up

Listen, Bonhomme, it was pointed out to you that there were more extremely tall guys in the top 20 at heavyweight now than there were in, say 1983... This is a fact. I know what a standard deviation is, I know what a mean is, I am aware of these things, I had math in school just like everyone else did. You can't see the forest for the trees. No one was saying "oh, your calculations are wrong", they were pointing out to you that your calculations in no way, shape or form changed the fact that there are more guys over 6'5 in the top ten now than there were 30 years ago.

You looked like an idiot in that thread, per usual.

What are some of you chaps on about? Lewis would have SPLATTERED that mouthy faggot Haye. It would have been a massacre. Lewis certainly had it in him to fight like a puff sometimes but to compare him to wald pussy is ridiculous - that pizza-bloke wald pussy-footed around last time out would have lasted precisely thirty seconds against Lennox who would have punched him in the face, really hard, from the opening bell until pizza-something fell over.

whatever, I had to vulagarize it for you to understand it. You had no clue what it meant. Anyway, as I said above, I don't want to drag this discussion off tangent, so I'll get back to the subject.

I understood it perfectly well, you dolt.

Answer this... in which period were there more top 10 heavyweight contenders over 6'5... 2003-2013 or 1983-1993?

leiws pussy was 'definitely' less pussy than wald pussy but if A) he thought the other guy was a threat and B) he could defuse him by keeping him at range easily then he would.

Lewis-Haye would look allot like Wlad-Haye....unless Lewis couldn't outbox him as easily as wald then it'd be a fight.

a question with several possible answers... one of which can be found via the methods you used (which isn't wrong) and another which looks at it a different way and asks "which era had the largest contenders?" in which case the other answer (mikE's) would be correct ... you were arguing two different answers to the same question, both of which could potentially be considered "right" because the question is not specific

Actually Lewis was exciting when he fought a similar sized HW to himself (Tucker being the exception)

You argued that the few extra 6'1 guys of recent years are not 'bigger' than the 6'3" guys of yesteryear because they are shorter and that any extra weight they carried was due to unhelpful fat. That's bullocks, but whatever.

Bigger doesn't mean height, it means a combination of height and weight. If today's guys were all fat fucks, I might have backed off, but they are mostly muscular (probably juiced up, but certainly muscled up) and 6'4, 218 lb Tony Tucker wouldn't be considered a big heavyweight in today's atmosphere, but he certainly was in the 80's. There was pretty much Cooney and no one else in the 80's who would be considered big today whereas there are like 8 guys in the top 20 who are giants for the 80's and probably 8 more who are bigger than the typical 80's heavy if you combine height and weight in the analysis.

Anyway, I'd rather watch you shred up the dipshits you are arguing with in this thread.

Agree. Not even close in my opinion.

Everyone has their stinkers but Lennox was fun to watch overall.

A "typo" is when you mistype a word, not when you misspell it because you're a sub-literate tool.

Is "wich" - which you misspelled twice, in two separate posts - also a "typo?"

Very kind of you to send me stuff I make use of and you don't, I hate to see things go to waste. Just don't get carried away doing it and start sending me stuff like your dick.
