Froch-Kessler II this saturday! :bears: We all know what happened in the first fight - it was a QUALITY matchup. Who you got this time?

Bellew-Chilemba II on the undercard, plus 'ugly kid' George Groves against Noe Gonzalez Alcoba.

Live on sky sports box office from 8pm.

It is a great fight for sure. I pick Froch this time out, he has been on a roll lately and I am not sure if Kessler still has the motivation, it seems as if the Ward loss took something away from him. He did bomb out Magee in style last time out though so he will make a helluva fight from it.

Bellew vs Chilemba I was a crap fight between a guy who couldn't and a guy who wouldn't and chances are we'll see a re-run of that. Groves has looked good lately whacking out some loser opponents. Alcoba isn' very good, I expect Groves to win early

I'm looking forward to this one. I'm going with Froch in another close fight. Froch has fought better competition since their fight and Kessler has had time off with injuries. I think Kessler shows himself well but in the end Froch takes a close but clear decision.

I dont think that will be an issue.

Froch by UD. Kessler has declined slightly and Froch looks as solid as ever. Great fight really looking forward to this one.

Kessler toughs it out and gets a deserving win again. Hoping his step back in competition helps him instead of hurts him.

I like both guys, though, and the case for Froch makes sense.

I don't think Froch can outbox Kessler so he'll have to outfight him. And Kessler can't outbox Froch enough to keep from having to fight him.
And Froch isn't the type of guy to sit back and get outboxed.
So we'll get a good fight.

With guys this good, anything can happen under these circumstances and if someone gets hurt the winner will look more dominant than he really is.

Not sure. Max boxing says it is only for Kessler's interim belt. Froch's wiki says it is for the WBA 'super' supermiddleweight belt and Froch's IBF belt.

A quick google shows the IBF title will be on the line.

The WBA's site says that Andre Ward is their 'super' supermiddleweight champ.

With their fucktarded rules, maybe they'll have two 'super' supermiddleweight champs. I think they had something similar with John and JMM at featherweight.

Andre Ward is the 'super' WBA supermiddleweight champ.

Kessler's 'regular' WBA supermiddleweight belt is on the line which means it is an interim championship.

    The WBA sucks.

Does anyone really think a Kessler stoppage win is possible?

Yeah me too. I put a hedge bet on this that covers every other eventuality. These 'Kessler KO' picks are making me nervous

Why not? Froch doesn't have the greatest chin. Taylor hurt him pretty bad when they fought.

Can't wait. Going with Froch in another close one. Agreed with some of you that I can't really picture a Kessler KO here.

Froch will eek out a close decision that many people think is a hometown decision. It will be basically a rerun of the first fight IMO. I can't see any other way for this fight to pan out; they are just a good style mesh and if they fought ten times they'd battle each other in a watchable manner each and every time.

I expect Froch to get the nod because this time he is at home.

Froch has a really good chin :dunno: Taylor just caught him with a shot that Carl didn't see which magnified the effect and Kessler doesn't have that kind of speed.

If Kessler is to stop Froch it will be with bodyshots; Carl is a LOT more vulnerable to those, Mikkel had good success with them in the first fight and I expect he'll target them again.

Both fighters are good enough and hit hard enough to ko the other. I would put Kessler's chances of getting the kayo below the other 3 main possibilities, though.
