    Duran in 6 one-sided rounds.

    Duran TKO10

He's just too quick at slipping those right hands and banging the body... Tszyu needs to be able to dictate a more methodical pace against such an aggressive, busy opponent... Not a good style matchup for him. He might land a couple of beauties here and there, but I think he's in for a long night and a tortuous body attack, eventually wearing him down with Duran increasingly getting his overhand right home clean on the button, dropping Tszyu and leading to the stoppage of the fight

The Duran would grab that pony tail and make Tszyu arch his back real nice.

Would be pretty damn one sided.

    Duran TKO 9.

if Duran struggled with Stephen Dejesus i think that Kory Tszyu could be competitive for the first half of the fight.

Duran would beat the absolute fuck out of that greasy rat tailed mongoloid in very 1 sided fashion. Tszyu is far too slow, predictable and gutless to be able to compete with Duran. I say Duran stops him in 6 or 7 rounds, Tszyu would fold in the face of Duran's relentless, joyous attack.

Stephen (we are on personal terms, I got beat up by Rolando Navarrette so I sort of know everybody ever in boxing) was a hell of a good fighter, I don't see Tszyu as being superior to him other than that there was no all-time great fighter for Tszyu to have to share the same division with during his career

Yeah, DeJesus was imo better than Tszyu, plus if Tszyu couldn't deal with Hatton's humping, what would he do against the greatest infighter of all time? 7 rounds tops.

    Exactly

I make it ten because Tszyu was physically durable and because Duran liked to make guys suffer

I can see Duran getting off the mat to win late after Tszyu's body shots and right hands and underrated jab give him enough to think of in the early rounds.

I can't see Tszyu's power doing much to Duran. Unless you're talking about the Duran who lost to Dejesus, who still wasn't a finished product. After that, Duran wasn't dropped again til Hearns destroyed him, and Tszyu's right hand is hardly comparable to Tommy's. Let's not also forget how good Duran's defense was, esepcially at rolling right hands.

Duran is the worst style matchup in history for Tszyu. This would be a one sided beating.

    Bullshit

1st, he was in his prime... He'd already whooped Ken Buchanan and Ernesto Marcel and had been fighting for 5 years... you could argue he might have taken DeJesus lightly in that first fight, but the idea that he wasn't already in full command of his skills and at his peak is revisionist history to me

2nd, DeJesus dropped him in the return

Otherwise, I basically agree and I don't see Tszyu dropping Duran... DeJesus dropped him with a fast left hook... Tszyu was married to the right hand, a punch that (Hearns aside) was the hardest one to get home on Duran by far

Id have to nominate this guy right here for having the least valid opinion of any one poster regarding a singular topic in fightbeat's history.

    I stand corrected.

Admittedly, I haven't watched the 2nd fight in about 15 yrs, so I honestly forgot Duran got dropped in that fight as well.

I watch the 3rd fight often though. Arguably Duran's best performance.

Tszyu had the strength to match Duran up close and his accurate right cross could make it painful for Duran. Duran would probably outwork Tszyu but he might grow discouraged doing that

Tszyu would be wearing a zebra-print leotard and teaching ZUMBA classes in Zaire while sipping Zinfandel
