I'd actually pick Froch based on his abilities and, as cdogg said, the fact that he can go 12 rounds. Benn would perhaps lead the fight at halfway stage landing the heavier shots, but Froch's sharpness would take over
Froch was bigger and hit plenty hard. THe lack of speed would not be a factor as Nigel was not hard to find. Needless to say, Carl would not want what was best for Nigel.
It's basically down to whether or not Froch can take those shots and not get stopped... if he can, He's got every shot at winning
I agree with the consensus here; Froch is a warm favourite and wins if he can come through the early incoming. Froch has an excellent chin but Benn would hit him a lot harder than he's ever been hit before so it's the big unknown here. If Froch is still in the fight by the seventh, he wins by stoppage around the 10th-11th. It would be an awesome fight either way. MTF
I don't see much debate about this fight. Froch woulda stopped Benn. Styles favor Froch big time. Just like against G-Man, the styles DON'T favor Froch.
