Or should I just say: Which round does Macklin get KO'd in?

    I say GGG in 6.

I would love Macklin to do it, but GGG just looks the business and hits so hard and is very accurate. Macklin will take it to him and should ask some questions.

    GGG in 5-7 rounds.

Macklin may be tough enough and skilled enough to go some rounds, but I doubt he'll win any.

Macklin is fucking limited and embarassing. Same old "Pressure shit" from him, A pressure fighter ain't worth a damn unless he finishes as strong as he starts and I have never ever seen Macklin finish as strong as he starts. In the Moore, Sturm and Martinez fights he had good early and middle sections before fading badly late. I wish him the best of but he has never shown any hint of adding some feathers to his boxing cap all the time I have seen him. No nouse, no guile or creativity.

    GGG by late brutal stoppage.

Lemieux is literally a scrub with a punch. GGG is technically solid and skilled, puts his punches together very well, good counters and timing. They are worlds apart in terms of ability. GGG is probably the best 160 pounder in the world, Lemieux couldn't even beat Rubio. In fact, he couldn't even beat Alcine, a guy who was stopped in a round by Angulo and Macklin

If they were the same weightclass, Gaybox would give that little turd Broner the business.

But REED, regardless of how hyped up either one is or isn't - surely YOU can see they are 2 totally different levels of fighter?

To me, it's like comparing Marquez to Angulo, as they can both punch

Golovkin has more in common with Marquez than he does a bum like LeMoo. He's a fairly skilled operator, technically proficient, with good accuracy, counters, and combos.

LeMoo is literally a sloppy bum, with no skill, and no real talent apart from power.

I agree with you on a lot of stuff REED, but I think your way off base with your assessment of Gaybox and Broner. Time will tell Gaybox is a better fighter than Broner, and that Broner is also far from the light hearted, fun loving dude you think he is :kidcool:

Lemieux and Golovkin's styles are comparable. The comparison was valid for anyone not looking to distinguish it by being insipid and/or an asshole. However, since REED himself is not above missing the forest for the trees when it comes to analogies, carry on.

Whether Golovkin is or isnt the real deal at MW, Macklin is unlikely to answer that question. He's tough and predictable, I would anticipate Macklin fighting quite conservatively, with Golovkin pouring it on in the later rds, could even imagine it going to a decision, a victory of sorts for Macklin.

I understand Reed's point of view that it is easy to be impressed by a guy who looks good before actually seeing results from him. Just because GGG is not flashy the way Berto or Khan were doesn't mean that he couldn't have a weakness, which only shows as he steps up in class

Personally I don't think he will be exposed anymore. GGG was a successful amateur too, capturing Olympic silver behind clinching monster Gaydarbekov (yes, that is his actual name). To do that well in amateurs with GGG's style and strengths tells you that he has more than just big punch. The only thing questionable right now is what happens when he gets hit hard.

Since Macklin doesn't hit that hard, he won't win, but I don't expect GGG to bomb him out quickly either. Golovkin in 10 or so.

Yep. I hope he gets Macklin out of there decisively...and violently. His mystique is growing rapidly, and to be honest, that shit is fun when you have an up-and-coming destroyer.

He says he can make 154...in fight number five of Floyd's contract....Floyd anyone?

Not surprised if he can make 154. I've always thought he looked like a smallish middleweight, similar size to Martinez, maybe even a tad smaller.
