Floyd would never get punked by a guy like Paulie.

Broner got punked than turned to his groupies for backup.

Floyd would have no problem with Broner riding his coat tail to stardom as long as he was at 130-135. Now youngen has moved up to Floyd's territory at 140-147 and schtick hasn't change he is still trying to be like "Money"...shit Broner is even trying to outdo him...Floyd is about the Millions and i'm about the BILLIONs.

Bottom line is Broner made his move too early....Floyd is not retiring yet...that is 2 years off at least. Instead of replacing big brother he has position himself as an opponent of big brother....YES the book is closing in Floyd's career....but he still has enough pages to fuck Broner up....

Come on.....maybe Broner might say a few clever things...but all Floyd has to do is remind him that for the last 3-4 years you have done nothing but imitate my style....you are my son...I will sonned you......you are the poor man version of me....you are 3rd string of me....you are MINI-ME...

Exactly, Broner Vs Floyd is a battle Broner could never possibly win. He wants to BE Floyd, and has modelled his entire fighting style and personality on him  What the fuck could he possibly say to insult him, that would somehow undo his rather sickening display of sycophantism?

Floyd is a much better fighter, richer, taller, better looking, and probably even a better rapper :atu:

Considering the slow start Broner had and how much Paulie was able to hit him, you might have a point. I have zero faith in Khan but he is bigger & faster than Paulie, and obviously hits much harder.

I have no idea. If Broner keeps winning for the next year or so, I'd say it's pretty likely.

He might be like Kanye personality-wise, but he's closer to Vanilla Ice talent-wise

I'm not sold on him, either... He can act like Floyd Mayweather all he wants, he can pretend he's in a class like that and even try to mimic Mayweather's style but all I see is a guy with some talent doing something that clearly doesn't suit that talent, whatever it may be... There's more than one way to cook an egg. The shoulder roll style is a great style but it is not for everyone... I'm pretty sure Floyd would be worse off trying to fight like, I don't know, Dwight Qawi so he does what best maximizes his gifts and minimizes his weaknesses. If you have a guy with Ruben Olivares' strengths, you don't train him to fight like Tommy Hearns and you don't train Hearns to fight like Olivares

Problem is that it is too late for Broner to make a radical alteration to what he does... this is IT. He'll have to live or die with it.

I think his talent is being overstated.

He has good handspeed and accuracy, decent power, and that's it. No workrate, no movement, not much agility, average stamina, average defense.

One thing is true though, he would be better if he wasn't 100% preoccupied with pretending to be someone else.

Yeah, that'd Be Funny for the 1st Couple Pressers, but Floyd WOULDN'T Put an Interesting TWIST on Any of It...He'd LITERALLY Say the SAME Exact Shit Every Time...

    "Like I Said Before"...

NATURALLY, Broner's MUCH More Charismatic & Creative, Verbally...By the END of the Build-Up There will have Been 1 CLEAR Winner; Adrien Broner...

I've noticed Broner's lack of head movement also over the past few fights. He barely moves it you know. He has pretty good reflexes to get out of the way of incoming punches, but still gets tagged.

I reckon Floyd is still sore over the "Only One Ricky Hatton" thing. I think Floyd is like Ivan the Terrible. Deep down he just wants to be popular and have working class people who would spend a fortune to come half-way around the world to see him, instead of the Leonard Ellerbee hanger-ons he has. I thing Froyd is ronery.
