No wraps of course. Can Forrest use his jab like Winky and win a 12-0 decision?

I've always felt that Tito would have blown Forrest away, regardless of which weight, though at 147 Vern is obviously more competitive.

At either weight though he goes to sleep.

I'm on the fence with this one

Stylistically, Vernon has exactly what you want to see in a guy against Trinidad... I'm just not sure of a few things

Winky is a poor template for really anyone because his tactics were so idiosyncratic plus he was a guy unlikely to think to himself "If I open up, I can get this guy out of here" after a several rounds of having things his way... Wright knew better than that, knew his strengths and his weaknesses... I don't know if Vernon can keep that same level of discipline if he's having such an easy time befuddling a guy behind a steady jab

Hopkins doesn't fit as a reference because obviously it was a middleweight fight, but more importantly, he was just a far more versatile fighter than Vernon not to mention bigger, stronger and more durable

So we're left with the example of DLH (I've heard all arguments but I don't care; shameless though the last three rounds were, he won that fucking fight) ... You've got the common denominator of a top-notch jab but what else? A lot of what Hoya was able to do was down his quick feet and mobility. Vernon wasn't lead-footed, of course, but I don't know that you'd call him fast on his feet or particularly mobile

What I'm saying is that yes, Vernon has many of the right attributes and strengths to get it done... He's tall, he's got a good jab and knows how to use it, his defense is solid, He is unafraid to fight a negative fight if it suits him... all good things to have against Trinidad... I'm just not so sure he can avoid the mistake of growing overconfident if he starts piling up the points and leaving himself open to take tide-turning shots for one and two, I'm not entirely sold that he's quick enough in his feet to really execute the strategy

Gun to my head, I think it starts well for him but it doesn't end that way

Forrest wasn't nearly as mobile as Oscar

I'm gonna go with Tito via stoppage

I think Forrest gives Trinidad headaches. Wouldn't be shocked if he's up on the cards but I do think that Trinidad would get to him and take him out.

    Trinidad KO 10

Trinnydad and Susanna was one of the more overrated fighters of all time. His gloves were loaded, his left hook was wider than most of Petres claims and he was too easy to hit. It's just so hard to pick for somebody who got blasted out by that utter retard Mayorga.
