I'd like to see how sharp Floyd looks against the big Ginger first

Maybe this one could come at the end of Floyd's contract. Golovkin still has a bit more to prove, but by that time he may have already defeated Sergio Martinez.

Floyd's got plenty of work to do before a fight like this could be a reality, but it is intriguing nonetheless. We should really be talking about who Golovkin's next two opponents should be though.

 

I think Golovkin beats him easilly

 

Unless Mayweather gets old over night i don't think anybody near his weight class beats him easily.

GGG is simply too big, and powerful for Floyd, and would knock him senseless once he lands.

That said, on paper.....GGG gives him serious shit to think about.

GGG cuts that ring off for fun. He really cuts it off. He'd make Floyd fight every second of every round, whilst being as economical as possible himself.

i disagree. golovkin would cave in alvarez's skull within a few rounds. i dont think beating alvarez would be any indication of how mayweather jr does against the bigger, better guy.

What I mean more is I want to see how Floyd looks against a big guy like that... If his punches move the Ginger, how easily he's muscled around in a clinch... If he looks sturdy, I think he's got have a chance because he's so skilled and experienced
