Need to see more of Golovkin. Although there a lot of fighters i'd pick over Trinidad, not many of them are the stalker type.
I love GGG, but there's a HUGE difference between Macklin and Tito. GGG appears to have a tough chin, but no telling how he'd react to Tito's power. IF he reacted well to Tito's power, then he wins, cause it's doubtful Tito's chin would react well to GGG's power.
C'mon man. Nobody except Hagler and a very few others could stand toe to toe with Tito and live to tell about it.
I agree but the big question here is how would have Tito reacted to GGG punching power. Also how would GGG react to Tito's power. This would have been a good fight.
Tito at 147 and 154 was sharper with his punches than he was at 160. I think we need to see more of Golovkin honestly. I doubt Golovkin would have been anymore competitive with Hopkins than Trinidad was.
the list of middleweights who would've beaten tito, even going toe to toe, is certainly not confined to the likes of Hagler. tito never did shit at 160. winky wright won every round and he went toe to toe. granted, with his illegal wraps he was lethal as we saw against joppy. but assuming ggg isn't a dumb fuck and doesn't allow tito to cheat... also, the guy who told rahman to stick his arms out to make lewis stop - is he the same guy who trained joppy when he lost brutally to an obviously illegally wrapped tito? was this guy on the take or what? gambling problem perhaps?
