I don't need insight when I watch boxing. I know what I'm looking at.

I want entertainment. I want George.

Perhaps Big George's MOST Off the Wall Remark EVER...

Even @ his ABSOLUTE Best, Page was NEVER Higher than the LOWER HALF of the Top 100, Lb for Lb, yet George Spoke as if The BEST of the Best COULDN'T Claim the Top Spot, w/Out Dealing w/Him 1st...EXTREMELY Bizarre Comment...

    I agree. Foreman was great.

I always enjoyed when Kevin Kelley called the fights. It's a shame his broadcasting career didn't last too long.

Yeah, I thought Kelly was pretty good. I wonder if he got blackballed after the disaster that was KO Nation.

This was during Mosley vs Adrian Stone I believe. Foreman said the trunks can get you "spooked" in there.

My personal favorite was, "Oscar's intimidating him with his shoulders!"

He was obsessed with this idea that when DLH simply bounced on his toes, he was unbeatable... He used to say that shit all the time

They're both shit to me. If you like guys who talk a lot, but say nothing remotely insightful, it makes sense you like them. I'm being a bit harsh on Kelley as I thought he was okay, but just not good.

Malignaggi has a similar personality to Kelley, but he makes some very astute observations. He's what Kelley would sound like if he were good.

Foreman? I don't think there is a good version of Foreman? A big goofball with daffy observations and a big personality...

Yeah, it would be boring to have a bunch of objective nerds calling the fights. George was fun.

I remember being at the fights in AC years ago, and I was standing just a few feet from Foreman, so I yelled over...."Hey George! Love your grill!"

He gave me this huge shit eating grin and rubbed his fingers together doing the international sign for money. Pretty amazing that he made far more money by just putting his name on a product than he ever did fighting.

One of the smartest business decisions imaginable

An already existing product selling next to nothing and he basically just agreed put a name on it and do a handful of infomercials... it made him obscenely wealthy... one of the rare happy post-career boxing stories
