Matt Brown and Mike Brown are both on the card. Mike is the guy who kept beating up Faber. Matt is the invincible, former TUF, guy.

REED MEANT Matt, when he mentioned TUF, but he Recalls Mike Brown as Well...Mike Effectively ENDED the Urijah Faber/Tough Surferdude, Hype Machine...But REED Kinda LIKED that Hype Machine...

Faber's STILL Fairly Well Known, but he Could've Been 1 of UFC's MOST Mainstream Fighters, if Not for Mike Brown...

It will be very interesting to see who is mentally weaker, Browne or Overeem. Browne managed to squeeze in a confidence-building win against Gonzaga since losing to Bigfoot. Meanwhile, Overeem is fresh off his shocking, brutal KO loss.

Browne can easily win if he fights confidently. But if he walks in the cage intimidated by Overeem, it's lights out.

Overeem was a nearly 3-1 favorite. So I'd shocking for oddsmakers.

That being said, I meant shocking by the sudden manner in which it actually happened.

It's true. I liked Bigfoot to win late, and I envisioned him battering an exhausted Overeem. But it was still shocking.

The only bout not televised will be Gamburyan vs. Miller. That will be on facebook. Everything else will be televised. Prelims and main card will be all on the same channel in one whole broadcast. Ten fights televised one fight on facebook. For now.

Tough comeback fight for Overeem, wouldn't surprise me at all to see him lose this one. Sonnen-Rua is a fight between two has been, it doesn't interest me much especially considering Sonnen unapealing style

1 GOOD Thing about UFC is Guys DON'T Get Carried or Babysat, Usually, in Terms of Matchmaking....Overeem SHOULDN'T Get a Gimme Opponent for a Comeback...

REED Can ALREADY Hear the Excuses for the LOSER of Shogun-Sonnen..."Shogun was INJURED" (Yet AGAIN), "Sonnen Isn't REALLY a 205lb'der"...Sonnen NEEDS the Win More, in REED's Opinion, for the Sake of his WWEish Schtick...

I think he's pretty cool but I also think he might be a bit of a hype job.

Maybe, but he looked damn good in his debut against a decent fighter in Marcus Brimage.

Luckily Connor gets another striker against Max Holloway so he will have another chance to grow his fan base with a highlight reel KO.

i think Rua needs the win more. Sonnen is dropping back down to 185 win or lose. When he drops back down, he's immediately one of the top 5 or 6 MWs in the world.

Meanwhile, Shogun would probably slip out of the top 10 at 205.

So someone help me out. Are th prelims and the main card on the same channel?

I know the first 3 fights are on Facebook but after that I'm as lost as TFK at a rap concert.

This is a fight night card? Isn't this too strong of a card for fight night? And also for some reason I thought this was taking place in Canada in Edmonton or something it was gonna be a PPV. Weird.

Yes the first three fights will be on facebook, but every other fight will be on FS1. Including the prelims. No more Fuel and FX shit. It goes on one channel. now. 10 straight fights live.
    3 fights prior on Facebook.

It's a perfect free card, it's not worthy of a PPV slot.

He's a very very good fighter. Now, will he dominate the world? Who knows for sure But Conor has a lotta potential.

Holloway is a good opponent for Conor, I fully expect a win.

McGregor's deal is like any other exciting striker. It will all depend on how he handles good wrestlers.

Luckily Holloway isn't a wrestler so McGregor should put on a great show.

sure but would you want to pay for this shit? A guy coming off two crushing losses and a guy that is on his way out.

    that's a sick KO.

Exciting first fight between D Brandao and Pineda. Pineda swings like a toughman guy but he's got some good skills otherwise.

    His striking is pretty impressive.

Brandao and Pineda is a good scrap, both guys hanging in there.
