    gonzalez had a pretty damn good career. he's had some devastating losses, but has significant wins vs. hasegawa and now, mares. can't believe that fight vs. vasquez was that long ago.

    The ref said mares' eyes rolled back and that is why he stopped it. His eyes did not roll back at all.
