Seriously folks, IMO MAD MEN star John Ham would have been perfect as Bruce Wayne/Batman.

Anyway, no matter who they cast Snyder will fail to deliver once again. He's known for 300 and Watchmen, both films that had the comic being used as the script. He's a great visual director like Michael Bay, but when it comes to tell a story, (An original story, to be specific) he fails. That's why Bale declined the role and few people were impressed with Man of Steel.

I liked "Suckerpunch" quite a bit. But then again I have a thing for crazy bitches in skimpy outfits.............so take that for what it's worth. It's trendy to shit on Snyder nowadays, but I like his stylism quite a bit. Haven't seen "Man Of Steel" though. The concept doesn't interest me. I'll wait till it hits cable.

Bale declined the role because he made his money and now thinks he's too good for the costume (he is, by the way). Doubt it had anything to do with Snyder.

BTW I read somewhere they caught up to Affleck BFF Matt Damon to ask him about the role and the controversy. His response was something along the lines of "He's not playing fucking King Lear, it's Batman. It's not exactly a stretch for him."

Its a fucking bad one..thats what it is....almost as bad as George Clooney...Batman needs to be a dark conflicted character who also is a little older but at least is in shape...Brad Pitt who has played dark characters before and is good at portraying his demons on screen would have been a good choice...in shape and and at least is good at getting angry...even Eric Bana deserved a look

Don Draper is by himself a very dark character, with more internal demons than Bruce Wayne, and Ham has played that role perfectly.
